Westport Woods Hotel

What do I say about Westport Woods? From the second we looked at the hotel we knew it was the only place we wanted to have our wedding. There was nothing too big an ask and they would push to achieve any mad ideas we had. We decided on two bands as opposed to a DJ and to make it a little more difficult we wanted them set up on opposite sides of room this was no problem. The food to this day people are raving, raving and raving about it was just glorious. Seamus in his ill health stayed till late the night before with the lads prepping room and making sure it was perfect for the next day. In this hotel we found everything we could possibly want I cannot speak more highly of them for a 300 person wedding not one person went away from there with a complaint or a bad word. Myself & my new wife had an absolutely amazing weekend here to celebrate our wedding. Firstly, the staff; bar staff, kitchen staff, servers, reception staff and management were all true professionals. Our guests were left wanting nothing. Seamus Lally, wedding co-ordinator, ensured everything ran smoothly and he was always there to help. It also helps he is one of the funniest people we've ever met which really helped keep the nerves at bay! Secondly, the food; simply outstanding! The bar food, breakfast buffet and restaurant were all 5/5. Our guests went for second & third servings during the reception. The hotel; great location with great little forest by the water. Super service, dedicated wedding planners both Joanne & Irene helped every step of the way. Amazing food and the service was definitely worthy of a five star hotel. Great help right throughout the planning helped me find suppliers at discounted rates and great ideas to save money. Would highly reccommend it, they also provided some amazing special touches but I don't want to say what they were because I will ruin it for other brides and grooms!
