We aim to collect only the information needed to run the directory, respond to enquiries and improve the planning experience.
Information you provide
This may include your name, email address and message when you contact us or enquire about a listing. Supplier profile information is used to make the directory useful to couples.
How we use it
We use information to respond to requests, operate site features, protect the service and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell personal information.
Supplier enquiries
An enquiry submitted on a supplier profile is intended to reach that supplier. Please avoid including sensitive information in an enquiry.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or remove personal information we hold about you. Start with our Contact page and include enough detail for us to find your request.
Data we may handle
Depending on how you use WedHQ, this may include contact details, enquiry messages, account or saved-planning information, supplier profile information and technical information needed for security and reliable hosting.
How information is shared
An enquiry can be shared with the supplier you choose so they can respond. We may also use hosting, database, authentication, email, security and analytics providers to operate the service, subject to their role and applicable safeguards.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations or protect our systems. Retention periods can differ by feature.
International processing
Some service providers may process information in other countries. Where this happens, we will use the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law and explain important changes in this notice.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle personal information, contact us first so we can investigate. You can also complain to the relevant data-protection regulator in the country where you live or work.
