Weddings of Distinction: Relaxed, informal, exclusive, something special and different - just a few of the comments from our wedding and private party guests. Civil Ceremonies: Civil marriages can take place at Walton Court under Civil Licence.It is the responsibility of the wedding group to make their own arrangements with the Registrar . Number of Guests: Up to 40 guests for a reception in the main house and old courtyard, or up to 80 guests in a luxury marquee on the front terrace or lawn overlooking Oysterhaven Bay. Wedding Breakfast: We can cater for all requirements, including superb local fish and oysters,and a varied vegetarian menu. Only the freshest ingredients from our own gardens and local organic suppliers are used. An excellent wine cellar is available with many organic vintages, and a fully stocked bar. Accommodation We can accommodate up to 50 guests in our apartments, cottages and rooms, either on an exclusive "private facility" basis, or by individual bookings subject to availability. Entertainment: Our resident Irish harpist is avaialble to play during ceremonies and receptions, and we can also offer a classical string quartet, jazz trio and opera soloists by arrangement.
