Growing up in Australia i could only have imagined having my wedding in a venue like Powerscourt House and Gardens. From the moment you arrive, you know you're in for a treat. With spectacular gardens, a breathtaking ballroom and exceptional service, Powerscourt really delivers on all aspects of your special day. Powerscourt House not only gave us the day we had been dreaming of, but also allowed us to be stress free and really enjoy every minute of our special day. While our guests enjoyed the Champagne Reception and delicious canapes in the Garden View rooms, we enjoyed our time wandering around the immaculate gardens and creating memories of our own. From the Japanese Gardens to the Pepperpot Tower and the view of Sugarloaf Mountain, you'll be sure to have an equally amazing wedding album. While all of this is important, our day wouldn't have been so amazing without the support and help of the events coordinator and staff on the day. The service from the moment we booked the venue was exceptional and didn't stop until the night had finished. No request was too much, and our vision for the day was captured

I just wanted to send a quick (and very belated) email of thanks to all at Feast catering for looking after us on the 12th April and making our wedding day so special. The staff were fantastic, and were so attentive to our guests, by constantly ensuring their drinks were topped up during the reception and being alert and sensitive to guests' dietary requirements during the dinner. We also felt extremely well looked after when champagne and canapés followed us out to where the family photos were being taken. This was extremely thoughtful and a well needed refreshment for us!! The dinner was absolutely delicious. Guests really commented on how good the lamb was so really happy that you were kind enough to incorporate it into menu b for us, it was fantastic. From giving us options to where to put the band to what the room would look like on the day, you painted a very clear picture of what we would see upon our arrival on our wedding day. We would like to thank you for our tasting day as well, the food and options you gave us were amazing and you exceeded all of our expectations. Upon arrival to Powerscourt Annette was waiting there to instruct the driver of our car where to park the car. Once we stepped out of the car she was there waiting with two glasses of champagne. As the dinner bell rang the Feast staff ushered our guests into the dining hall but Annette took us to one side and brought us to our own private room to have a few moments to ourself before our introduction. Inside the room was a bottle of champagne and again, our favorite canapé. Nice touch. Annette came to tell us that it was time to enter the hall but before she opened the door she told us exactly how to reach our table through all of the people. Our wedding at Powerscourt was everything we had dreamed of and so much more. From start to finish and right throughout the planning process, the team at Powerscourt proved to be outstanding. The wonderful atmosphere throughout our day from the ceremony, to our drinks reception on the lawn, our fabulous evening filled with sumptuous food, music and lots of dancing provided us with our dream wedding. Powerscourt as a venue is simply stunning. The beautiful views of the gardens and mountains are exceptional and these coupled with a magnificent ballroom and ceremony room provided us with a truly exquisite wedding day. We felt very privileged to be the first couple to have a civil partnership in Powerscourt House and Gardens. We had the most fantastic day surrounded by what can only be described as the most awe-inspiring scenery and splendid period setting. What was most appealing in our choice of Powerscourt House was the ability to maximise use of the entire house and gardens. The gardens were the perfect backdrop for formal photos while our guest were entertained outdoors at a champagne reception enjoying breathtaking views of the sculpted gardens and Wicklow mountains. The rooms in the house were of such generous proportion that we could use separate spaces to hold the ceremony, the banquet for our guests and have our DJ and band set up in advance. A quieter area for guests was available in the adjoining bar. Having the availability of separate spaces with sufficient capacity meant our guests moved seamlessly through the house without the necessity to "turn over" any of the rooms for the next part of the day. The food and service provided by our choice of caterers Feast Catering was second-to-none. Our guests repeatedly commented how delicious the food was and how friendly and efficient Annette and her team were.
