The castle has been the home of the FitzGerald family, the hereditary Knights of Glin, for more than 800 years and includes a stunningly picturesque 500-acre demesne. Facilities and Capacity Glin Castle hosts small weddings, anniversaries, and family reunions and can accommodate groups of 6 to 160 people. The castle comprises a charming grand hall, dining room, library, drawing room, and 15 delightful en-suite guest rooms. The interior is Neoclassical in design and features Irish furniture and paintings that showcase the castle's unique history and splendour. It has five standard rooms, six superior rooms, and four deluxe rooms and can sleep up to 30 people. Outside, you will find a magnificent 19th-century walled garden, formal lawns, and winding gravel walks bordered by majestic ancient oaks, perfect for your wedding photographs and videos.
