Originally built in 1821, Stack A, Custom House Quay functioned as a tobacco and wine warehouse before being renovated and transformed into the award-winning CHQ centre where ely bar & brasserie is located today. With its stunning vaulted cellars, heated waterside terrace and light-filled Atrium Bar, this venue showcases what we do best at ely; excellent service, great wines & beers and smooth food in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. One of ely’s greatest attractions is the great relationship they have with their food and wines. All of our food is fresh, Irish and organic wherever possible. Our organic beef is sourced directly from co-owner Erik Robson’s father’s farm in the Burren, Co Clare. All our organic lamb is from the neighbours next-door, McCormack’s farm, which may be better known as the parochial house from comedy series, Father Ted ! Coupled with this, ely bar & brasserie’s cellars host an impressive selection of over 400 carefully chosen wines from around the world and our expert sommelier will ensure a wide range of wines are available to fit all tastes and budgets.
