We wouldn’t change a thing. When I mention my wedding, I rave about the hotel. From start to finish, Sinead was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. I loved how I could email her and get a speedy response; she is fantastic at what she does. I know it mustn’t be an easy job at times but you can see she is made for it. I’ve never come across a place where every staff member was so welcoming, caring, friendly and down to earth and they made us feel so special. I feel that I could not have asked for a nicer venue. The room looked amazing. Everyone commented on how the food was enjoyable and plentiful and the waiting staff were so nice! Any time we turned there was a manger making sure we were okay. For us the most memorable part of our Wedding Day was sharing it with our close friends and family, in a beautiful relaxed venue. We felt like royalty on the day. Looking back, the run up to the wedding was just fab!!! I loved it all!! You were so efficient Sinead - any question I had, or mad notion, and you were back to me straight away. That was what made us chose the hotel in the 1st place. You are a great "1st face" for the hotel, as in first impression, you’re so friendly and professional. There were no hiccups, everything went like clockwork. I didn't have to worry about 1 single thing on my wedding day, and I am a big worrier. My favorite part of the day was the ceremony; it was so relaxed, happy and the room looked amazing. The guests loved our civil ceremony too. Our food was, to put it simply, divine!! Loved it!! Every single person who had the beef thought it was the nicest they had ever had at a wedding. LOVED our cocktail drinks reception and afternoon tea! Was so chuffed with it! I could sing your praises all day, and we have been. But for us, we went with the hotel that we felt the most comfortable in. It just felt right. All of the staff are just so friendly and approachable. Ye had a fabulous package, the PJ party is a genius idea! Also the Alders ballroom is such a lovely room, I love the chandeliers. Sinead Gillen, the hotel's Wedding Co-ordinator is lovely and the reason we booked the Carrigaline Court. When we were booking, we felt she was a genuine person who would do her utmost to look after us and after we had signed on the dotted line, she followed through with everything she said had promised us. Nothing was impossible. From the moment we arrived on our wedding day, our every need was catered for. Everything was thought of and we were very well looked after. The bar, waiting and reception staff were very friendly and efficient. We thought the engraved champagne glasses were a lovely touch. There was a great atmosphere in the Bistro when we arrived and that buzz carried on into the meal. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent; every course was lovely but the beef was a real winner with everyone. The monkfish was fantastic also. The kitchen staff obviously took great time and effort to get this right and I can only commend and praise them for it. The silver service for the main course was a really nice touch and made it really special for everyone. Barry and his team were fantastic to watch and be served by. From the moment we first made contact with Sinead to our final chat with Barry and Eilis just after check out, all I can say is that our wedding day was handled with the utmost professionalism. It really felt like 5 star service. It made our wedding day fun, relaxing and extremely enjoyable; one where we can confidently look back on it knowing that everyone thoroughly enjoyed our day. I hope they enjoyed dealing with us as much as we did with them.
