When we first started to look for wedding venues we wanted to find somewhere that was different and intimate and that could cater for an outdoor event. We would have never imagined that there was such a perfect little gem as the gardens so close to our home. On our first visit in February, before the garden had fully come alive, it was still obvious what a beautiful and special place it was. On that first visit we also met Caroline who from the very beginning, and throughout the process was absolutely amazing. There was nothing that we asked for that was too much trouble for her. Her main concern was always that we had the wedding that we wanted. Her enthusiasm for helping us plan our special day made it all such a pleasant experience. We were both abroad during most of the planning, but Caroline made sure that all the preparation went seamlessly. The wedding day itself was perfect. We had a reception with canapes before the ceremony followed by more snacks and drinks after tying the knot. The only word for the food was delicious, and all the staff serving and taking care of us on the day were an absolute credit to the venue. We had so many genuine compliments from our guests about the venue and the event itself. There is nothing we would have changed about the day and couldn't have imagined any other place that could have provided such a beautiful and intimate surroundings and such an exceptional team. We would not have a single hesitation in recommending the Gardens to any couple looking for somewhere very special to have their big day.
