A bohemian wedding in an idyllic setting Ballybeg is all about simplicity and ease. We want your wedding to be a laid back affair and for you and your guests to relax and really enjoy the space, the place and the atmosphere. You will have the full use of the house, gardens, grounds, marquee, Grouse Lodge, Luke’s Cottage, Dairy, Ayers Ceremony Room and Shebeen for the duration of your stay and in order to maximise your time at Ballybeg we have designed packages that include a fantastic hum dinger of a Wedding Day and a relaxed, rustic Next Day party. Ballybeg House itself, is a colonial style lodge - a small(ish) but very pleasant and comfortable house, set on beautiful landscaped gardens, nestled in the midst of green fields and the Wicklow hills. On site we have a large fully-fitted oil-fired centrally heated Marquee - a beautiful rustic marquee that will comfortably hold up to 160 guests. You have the option to get married on site in a number of different places – in our renovated medieval style Ayers Ceremony Room, under the oak tree, to the walled garden, in the Piano Veranda, or even a local church- The beauty of Ballybeg is that you have the freedom to do all this and more. The choice really is yours! Wedding parties at Ballybeg have the exclusive use of the entire place for a minimum of three days and nights. This includes: The House The Dairy Grouse Lodge Luke O' Toole’s Cottage The Ayers Ceremony Room The Marquee The Shebeen The gardens and surrounding parkland As well as: Valet car parking on your wedding day Tables chairs, crockery and cutlery All heating & linen expenses Audio system for wedding speeches Hire of security person on the night of the wedding. Wedding AM Events is Ballybeg’s resident wedding coordination company. Our wedding coordinator Mark will look after all styling, decor and floristry arrangements to ensure each couples’ unique tastes and preferences are reflected throughout their special day ensuring a faultless and relaxed event is enjoyed by all.
