We had our wedding reception at Actons this year and cannot rate this place more highly!! The team at Actons is absolutely AMAZING!!! By the end of the wedding, I felt like they were my family because each person took a true interest in making our day an absolute dream come true!!! And God bless Ian for just being a SUPERSTAR at wedding coordination. Nothing was too much trouble and he ALWAYS had a smile on his face. If you work with Ian, I promise you're in good hands. Tomas and Sarah were fantastic to deal with, super organised and always responded quickly to our emails. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food was delicious and everyone we dealt with at Actons were friendly and helpful. They had everything set up for us on the day as we had wanted and it looked even better than we expected. We had an amazing day! Acton's Hotel were great to deal with and allowed us to put our own personal touches around the hotel. The prompt service and quality of the food along with the friendly staff really made everything run smoothly.

After looking at the many venues available in Cork, the Actons Hotel was a winner all round. The size of the room ideal (220 guests) and the layout simplistic with no obstructions or dodgy flooring unlike quiet a few of the venues viewed. My instant attraction to the Actons, outside of its wonderful location in Kinsale town was the overall ambience, it has recently been beautifully renovated to a high standard and the staff are doing their utmost to get this hotel to the top!! "The Bathroom check"- passed with flying colours, spotlessly clean and always have flowers on display! The food was great although admittedly we did not manage to eat a whole lot on the day but no complaints from any guests and by all accounts the service was without fault, any requests were seen to without delay. The bar was adequately staffed, stocked and prices reasonable:-) Well able to cater for the sing song! All in All, the setting, food, staff and bridal suite were all amazing.
