Based in the North East, I'm lucky enough to travel countrywide doing what I love to do - capturing amazing stories and once-in-a-lifetime moments for couples on their wedding day. My style of photography is simple, elegant and fuss free. I like to shoot in a relaxed, informal and unobtrusive way, allowing the day to happen naturally with as little intrusion as possible (although I have been known to tie the odd Windsor knot for a best man, pin a buttonhole on a stressed out father of the bride or even been a stand-in driver for the bridesmaids - all in a days work for a wedding photographer!) For me, it is so important that my couples really enjoy the whole wedding day, especially their time spent with me, as this, to my mind, is the secret to great wedding photography. Happy couples make for the most unforgettable images! I like to think that my pictures reflect a couple's unique dynamic and personalities and leave them with memories that can be cherished forever. While it's not always possible, I will try to meet up with my clients at least once before their wedding for coffee and a chat to get to know them a little bit, discuss their particular requirements and help them plan their day.
