We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue or a more wonderful team to help make our special day so memorable. From the very beginning, the staff were absolutely amazing — kind, generous, accommodating and incredibly flexible. Their patience, warmth and genuine care made such a difference throughout the two days. They brought such positive energy to the celebrations and provided exceptional service, making everyone feel completely at home. What really stood out was how naturally the team became part of our families over the two days. They were so welcoming and personable, and it genuinely felt like they were part of the celebrations rather than simply providing a service. The staff’s adaptability, both throughout the two days and especially on the wedding day itself, made everything feel so easy-going and relaxed for us. They handled every little change with such calmness, kindness and professionalism, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without worrying about the details. The venue itself provided the perfect setting, while the incredible team behind it ensured everything flowed beautifully. Their positive energy, attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our wishes made the whole experience completely stress-free and so enjoyable. From the moment we visited Wentbridge House to look around the space they could offer for our wedding, I was in love with it all. The individual, personal touches all around the hotel, the way each room is furnished and the impeccable staff make Wentbridge House the perfect balance of relaxed and comforting. We had a large (36 people) family meal the night before our wedding with a hot buffet which was delicious in a relaxed atmosphere whilst also feeling special for our celebrations. Our guests mostly stayed at the hotel - some for 2 nights and the booking process was easy as well as everybody commenting on how lovely their room was, how helpful the staff were and how the food had been wonderful. Our wedding planning was easy, with Chloe always just an email away, everything that we had requested or asked about was always accommodated. We got married outside under the beautiful folly and enjoyed every second of canapés and drinks on the lawn, wedding breakfast and evening reception with wood fired pizzas. I’ve recently got married and had my wedding reception at Wentbridge House Hotel. What an amazing location and setting for a wedding. If I had my time over, I would definitely choose Wentbridge House Hotel again. The hotel is situated in a quiet little village and has a folly in its grounds which was great for photos. What makes this particular venue spectacular is its staff. When planning our wedding, the staff at Wentbridge House Hotel were absolutely amazing, they are not just lovely people, but nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so focused on ensuring our day was very special. They didn’t just accommodate everything we wanted (eg special food requirements they’d never done before) but on the actual wedding day they took time to fix issues that had occurred with other suppliers to make sure our day was amazing, going above and beyond. I can’t thank the staff enough for making our day so special. Special thanks to Karen and Johnny who made the reception a joyous occasion, Karen’s personality is so bubbly that you can’t help but smile and feel really welcomed and Johnny played some great tunes to dance to and even played tracks he’d never played before, at our request. Special thanks also go to Matthew on reception, who was so helpful, not just on reception, but he also went the extra mile to ensure I arrived at the church for the wedding, when we were let down last minute by the car hire company we’d arranged. He also checked that I had transportation back to the hotel after the wedding had occurred. This leads me on to the General Manager - Catherine, who helped out with the car hire problems and arranged complimentary drinks whilst I waited for alternative transportation, she even covered reception whilst Matthew was helping me out. Throughout the whole process of organising the wedding, Nicola Guest the operations manager was very approachable and helped us to arrange our perfect day, nothing was too much trouble for her and she always responded quickly to all our queries. I’d also like to thank the bar staff Brittany, Maddison and Matthew; Chloe who organised things behind the scenes; the chef who created an amazing croquembouche and the rest of the reception staff who were all so helpful. Without all these people our wedding day would not have been as special and we wouldn’t have so many fond memories of the wedding day, made more special by all these amazing people. Myself and my husband chose Wentbridge House as our wedding venue and we are absolutely thrilled that we did. From our first meeting with Chloe, the hotel’s Event Manager - we knew we had made the right choice. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Every detail is so well thought out, the decor is gorgeous and it really gives such a luxurious feel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and every time we left, we couldn’t wait to return. Planning our wedding and deciding on the smaller details was such an easy and stress free process thanks to Chloe and all the team at Wentbridge. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are on hand almost all of the time to answer any questions or offer any reassurance that you may need. As soon as we stepped into the hotel we knew we wanted to get married here! Such a gorgeous venue and the team were really accommodating to our requirements. Chloe was fantastic and understood everything that we wanted from the day. She then somehow took my vision and relayed it to Karen and the team on the day who were all superb. We were married on Valentine's Day 2026 and couldn't be happier with the service provided at Wentbridge House. The weather gods shined on us which meant we could appreciate the grounds, even in winter. We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites, which was fabulous and very comfortable. We got married at Wentbridge in August, and we honestly couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were struck not only by the beauty of the country house itself, with its charming character and stunning gardens, but also by the exceptional service delivered by every member of the team. The staff truly provide a 5-star experience. They were professional, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. Many of our guests even went out of their way to tell us how wonderful the staff were on the day. As a same-sex couple, one of the biggest reasons we chose Wentbridge was because we were treated with complete warmth and equality from the very start. Wentbridge house is a beautiful venue for a wedding. The staff are fantastic and went above and beyond for us when we got married there in in June 2025. The food is delicious and the grounds are idyllic. The rooms are beautifully decorate and are modern but have their own traditional style. We booked our wedding here and it was the most perfect choice! From viewing the venue, to choosing the venue, to all the appointments to ensure everything little detail was covered, to the actual day; it was MAGICAL. We live locally so knew we wanted to get married at Wentbridge, and they booked us in quickly for a show around and provided us a list of dates. We met with Ellie and throughout the whole process she answered endless questions and provided any information we needed. The food and drink was as per normal, brilliant! No compliants.
