The Venue Southwood is a former private country residence in Halifax, West Yorkshire that specialises in wonderful Weddings and Events. Our Weddings offer total exclusivity for guests and include Wedding and Event packages to suit most budgets. Southwood offer couples an experienced team of Wedding Coordinators, helping to create your special day. Our exclusive use Country house is surrounded by gardens and includes a lawn and terrace. The ‘Summer House’ offers the perfect setting to serve reception drinks and canapes. Facilities and Capacity We hold two Wedding licences; The Albert Suite, seating up to 120 guests and an outdoor licence where vows can be taken under the pagoda which is situated within the gardens. In addition to The Albert Suite, guests can use St Johns bar, which can be enjoyed throughout the day. Our professional weddings team and event staff work closely with couples to ensure their dream day goes perfectly!
