We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience at Park Farm. Jill and Tim were extremely helpful, friendly and approachable throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We chose Park Farm due to the flexibility it offers, we wanted a wedding that was more relaxed than a traditional wedding, with our own food vendors etc. Jill and Tim were more than accommodating and allowed us to add our stamp exactly how we wanted to. In terms of value, the venue is excellently priced, especially when factoring in the accommodation that comes included within the package. Having total access the day before as well as until 12pm the day after was very welcomed and allowed us to be much less stressed on the day itself, and really made us feel like we were the focus of their attention, not that they were ushering us out to get the next wedding on! What a stunning venue! Set in the countryside surrounded by rolling hills, sheep and horses this venue was everything we dreamed of! We got married in the woodland area, had pictures in the walled gardens, ate and danced in the barns and frolicked on the lawn. Being dry hire, we were able to customise our day with full flexibility on vendors and schedule. We had our wedding at Park Farm in June and it was everything we had hoped for and more! The space is incredible and you really do need to visit to appreciate all the beauty. We were fortunate that we had sun all day which really helped us to utilise all the venue has to offer, we had our ceremony outside which was shaded by the trees which helped to keep everyone cool. We used the beautiful gardens for photos, set up games in the orchard and had more games plus a photo booth in the lambing shed. The sides of the marquee were opened up which meant people outside could still enjoy the band in the evening but allowed for conversation. So many people have commented on how incredible the venue is and it really is a hidden gem. The venue is stunning, with beautiful countryside views, charming rustic barns, a games field, wonderful gardens/woodland area, fantastic accomodation and campsite perfect for guests looking to stay on site. Every part of the venue is thoughtfully designed and creates the perfect backdrop for a wedding. What makes it so special is how exclusive and personal it feels. The gardens, woodland ceremony area, and beautiful farm buildings are all breathtaking, and the whole venue has such a relaxed yet elegant feel. The owners, Tim and Jill, were so helpful in the run up to the day and during our weekend, and were always on hand to answer any queries or help with logistics. We got married at Park Farm and Upper Shuckburgh, Daventry, and overall it was a truly fantastic experience. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Incredibly scenic and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The forest setting is idyllic, creating a magical, peaceful backdrop that felt very special and intimate during our ceremony. If you visit in winter don't be put off! It certainly looks fantastic in the Summer and so well kept! We were also incredibly lucky to be blessed with amazing weather, which only added to the beauty of the day. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout. They struck the perfect balance of being on hand whenever we needed anything, while also giving us the space to enjoy our day and make it our own. The venue offers a great amount of flexibility, which allowed us to really put our own spin on our wedding and tailor everything to our vision — something that was very important to us. The only small downside was the accommodation, which felt slightly run down in places. For example, several light bulbs didn’t work, and getting ready at 5am for hair and makeup was a bit of a struggle in the dark. That said, this was a minor issue in the grand scheme of things and didn’t detract from the overall experience. Aside from that, we honestly can’t fault the venue. We recently had our wedding at Park Farm, and can't thank them enough for making the day truly memorable. Jill and Tim were fantastic throughout, answering all our questions leading up to the day, and being on hand to help out with the setup and on the day itself. The weather was a bit up and down, so we decided to have our ceremony in the Lambing shed, which was just beautiful and had such a a lovely intimate feel. The whole venue is perfect if you are after a relaxed rustic vibe, and once you add your personal touches it really brings it to life. They had 2 rooms for guests to stay in the night before and night of the wedding, alongside a shepherds hut and space for guests to camp. Park Farm is perfect venue

We loved our wedding reception at Park Farm. Jill & Tim are lovely people and very responsive. The whole lead up and day was very relaxed. It has some wonderful accommodation available for you and a couple of you family members. A fair number of our guests also paid to camp and had a lovely breakfast provided in the morning. It really is a place you can add your own touches to and make your own, however it stands out beautifully as it is. When we first looked around we were blown away by how beautiful the setting was, so you wouldn’t have to do a lot to it if you didn’t want to. There are also additions that can be added on which we found very helpful (such as haybales for extra outside seating and an esprit tent for the orchard area - all organised through Jill). Park farm have various recommended suppliers. We had taste events there for our catering and Jeannie Williamson Floral Design as our florist. Both knew Park Farm very well and we would wholly recommend them also! It felt like there were just enough areas for partying/relaxing, without feeling that everybody was too spread out. The fire pit was a bit hit with our guests! Finally, having the weekend hire was so helpful for us in terms of not feeling rushed and being able to set up/take down the day before and after. It meant you could really enjoy your day without stress (we also ran off for honeymoon the next and left our family to take care of the details of pack up!
