You guys have this down to a fine art and everything was so so perfect. Our guests told us how amazing the food and all the staff were, I just wanted to add a little thank you to Ellie as well. She was so attentive, even helping me with my shoes later in the evening. Shelley/Naomi, you guys make wedding planning look easy but I 100% know it’s not! You just knew what needed to be done before it even needed to happen, things we would have never thought about. I didn’t get the guys name but we had lost our car keys with the postbox lock on and he took my phone and found them using the AirTag so we could enjoy the day. The team just couldn’t do enough for us! Alan was just incredible too, he again made the whole process look so smooth. Everyone said how amazing he was too, it can’t be easy herding that volume of people around but he does it so effortlessly! Please thank the kitchen staff as well, the food was amazing. We had a day truly magical day; our guests, my husband Ben and I still talk about what an amazing day we had! Our journey began meeting Shelley Farmer (our wedding organiser), she supported us through our 2.5 year's of planning, right up to and including being there on our wedding day! When we came across Barton Hall, I absolutely fell in love with the Orangery! We went to a wedding fair there, and it was great to see it in person, meet some suppliers and speak to some of the team. We did find that they were not the most responsive when we first contacted them, compared to the other venues we had spoken to. That said, the other venues had responded super quickly! The staff were really helpful, when I rang asking about what time to book the ceremony with the registrars for example, and it was great having the two meetings with Abi in the run-up to the wedding to go through everything. The taster dinner was a lovely experience too. We had to pay for 10 rooms as part of our package, and we did feel that this overcomplicated things a little, trying to link our guests' first nights with the second night that was included so they wouldn't have to move rooms... There was a bit of confusion about a night/room that had been put on our bill that we didn't think should have been there, and it was very difficult to get an answer as to whose it was - and then a bit of unnecessary stress the night before we arrived when MIL was told their room hadn't been paid for when, as far as we were concerned, it had. So, a few communication hiccups in the lead-up, mostly in relation to the 10 included rooms, but the staff were always lovely and the service we received on the day was brilliant! They helped us out with setting up the last little things like favours on the morning of the wedding and they made sure everything went really smoothly. Overall, we were so pleased with our choice of venue. The Orangery is such a special place for the ceremony, and we really liked the Charles Suite too. We had lots of compliments on the venue - and the food too, which was delicious. Having a Toastmaster included was great too as it helped the day go so smoothly. The rooms were nice - honeymoon suite was absolutely lovely, we wished we'd booked another night. I would totally recommend this venue for your wedding. The value for money was amazing. Included in our package was Canapes, 3 Course meal, evening food, dj, toastmaster, orangery. On the night before the wedding we were allowed to come and drop off everything and the staff did the set up over night and on the morning of. We had extra decorations which they offered to arrange for us and kept us informed of everything the whole day. Even the staff at reception were extremely helpful putting homemade hangover kits in each of the guests rooms prior to check in We couldn't compliment the venue enough. The wedding food was delicious, as was the breakfast in the morning.
