Midland Hotel, Bradford

Our wedding at the Midland Hotel Bradford was nothing short of perfect, and we cannot thank the team enough for everything they did to make our day so special. From the moment we booked, nothing was ever too much trouble. The planning process was smooth, professional and reassuring throughout, and we always felt completely supported. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. We held our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the French Ballroom and our evening reception in the Princess Ballroom, and both rooms are truly breathtaking. The hotel bedrooms are beautiful, and the bridal suite is flawless – the perfect place to get ready and unwind after the celebrations. The food was outstanding and received so many compliments from our guests. The cocktails were equally fantastic and enjoyed by everyone. It was clear that great care and attention had gone into every aspect of the day, right down to the smallest finishing touches and details. What really sets the Midland apart, however, is the people. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and genuinely invested in making our day a success. The hotel is spotless, the reception team are incredibly efficient, and Sandra in particular was excellent throughout. The waiting and bar staff were equally wonderful. Charlotte remembered us from my bridal shower at the hotel, which was such a lovely personal touch and made us feel truly valued. A special mention must go to Jo, the Wedding Specialist. She is simply incredible. Our wedding was a large and busy event with lots of suppliers and moving parts, yet everything ran seamlessly. If there were any problems, we never heard about them because Jo handled everything calmly and professionally behind the scenes. She went above and beyond from the day we booked right through to the wedding itself, and our day would not have run so smoothly without her. Sandy from the events team was also an absolute pleasure to work with and was always helpful, approachable and supportive. One of the things we appreciated most was that, despite being a large hotel, they made us feel like we were the only wedding that mattered. We fell in love with the Midland Hotel as soon as we walked through the door, after seeing the rest of the hotel and especially the French Ballroom that was the place we wanted to be. Have just got married at the Midland Hotel and I have to say the hotel and their staff outdid my expectations. The events planners are the loveliest of ladies and nothing was too much in helping us get to the wedding day with everything in order as we wanted. We had our wedding evening at The Midland Hotel and stayed for B&B the night of. Frederica was the lady who co ordinated our day and helped us organise everything. She was always on hand and so helpful when I had queries and ideas! We always felt like she was there to look after us and work around any limits we might have had. The care and commitment from staff on our day was amazing and we didn’t feel at any point like things weren’t going right or being messed up (coming from a bit of a control freak). They were all great and organised and we’re sure to check in when needed and keep up with any slight changes. Any pricing we encountered were very good and the food was amazing! The little date/taster session we had before hand was a great idea and made us more excited for the food on the day. Well what can I say, I have no words to describe how thankful I am to Sharon and her team. If it wasn't for them myself and my husband wouldn't have had a wedding. My previous venue fell through suddenly and It was a blessing in disguise. Sharon settled my nerves and pulled together the most beautiful wedding we could have imagined. Nothing was too much. We would like to thank all staff at midland hotel Bradford for giving us a wonderful wedding.Special appreciation to Sharon and Frederica for there attention to detail and guidance. The ball room was fantastic and gave our guests and wow factor, the bridal room was the best and offered all that we needed. The hotel give a grand and Victorian English style ,the decorations on the sealing are magical the chandelier is wonderful and central of discussion among our guests. Food was very good and well presented, staff were very personal and thank you Sharon for going beyond your duties to make the day a success your presence on the day give me and my wife assurance that you cared and in control.
