From the moment we drove down the gravel road to Brinsop, we knew it was where we wanted to say "I Do". From the get go Brinsop made it easy for us, we put down a small deposit to secure our wedding date and we were given adequate time to save and pay for the venue. Chloe was our coordinator and she was so amazing, and very supportive throughout our planning. We had such a great experience, any bump in the road was met with empathy and understanding and was resolved quickly. Nadia was also great at arranging our catering needs, and the food was superb!! Where do I begin?! As soon as we visited brinsop Manor for our very first visit, we were instantly blown away by the venues beauty, staff and the warming welcome we immediately got. We had 4 more venues to view over the coming weeks and within two days, our date was booked with Brinsop and it was the best impulsive decision we’ve ever made. From the get go, all the staff have been so responsive, helpful and will answer any question/query you have. They make you feel at ease and it really does make the process calm and enjoyable which meant the world to us whilst planning the wedding in 9 months with a small baby. Getting married at Brinsop is truly all you could wish for. They make it easy from day one with communication, flexible payment plans, support with deciding dates, choices of use of buildings or outside, choices of menu and drink packages (or going totally bespoke!), the easy of accommodation and even a dedicated wedding planner at your disposal! The food was delicious - with a few options to choose from you can build your menu and the tasting is well worth the time! Honestly we don't know where to start.... Brinsop Court is the most stunning wedding venue we have ever been to. We had the pleasure of getting married there on Friday 19th Dec and we were blown away. A wedding there anytime of year is beautiful but a Christmas time wedding is just truly magical. The Christmas trees, the flowers, the log fires were like something out of a fairytale. Not only was the venue beautiful, but the staff really out did themselves. Issy was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble throughout our whole process. The way that they were so flexible with all of our requests made us feel at ease and well looked after. We had our wedding at Brinsop on 2nd October and it was an incredible day! First off, every part of the venue is so beautiful, and we really made the most of it, having our ceremony in the woodland, drinks reception on the lawn, dinner in the Banqueting Hall and evening reception in the Knot Barn - Brinsop is so flexible in giving you many options for every part of the day. So many of our guests commented on how stunning the house and grounds are. The woodland is a real highlight if you're looking for an outdoor ceremony space, we didn't see anything like it in other venues we looked at - it feels so secluded and yet it's just steps away from the house. Amy (the head chef) and her team were super helpful and accommodating; we requested a fully vegetarian menu and they were very happy to oblige, and all the food on the day was delicious, incuding the canapes. It was also really lovely to have the recovery breakfast the following morning to catch up with our overnight guests :) Nina was our coordinator and she was absolutely fantastic - even though we were running slightly behind schedule on the day, she was a super calm and reassuring presence throughout, and never made us feel rushed. She even helped our guests surprise us after our meal by putting cans and a 'just married' sign on the golf buggy for our ride up to the Knot Barn! Prior to the day, she was always really quick to respond to emails and happy to chat on the phone whenever - even when she was on annual leave, she was quick to let us know that we could email and she would still get back to us while she was on holiday. The only slight issue that we had was that it took longer than we expected to be assigned a dedicated coordinator, which meant that we didn't have our planning meeting until less than 2 months before our wedding day, and getting all our catering info sorted was more rushed than we would have liked. We did ask them a couple of times before our coordinator was assigned, so I'm not sure if this is their usual timeline or if there was some other reason for the delay. As I said, once we had Nina assigned she was great and quickly resolved all our questions etc, but the last couple of months before the day did end up being a little bit more stressful because of this. Even having said this I would still absolutely recommend Brinsop - compared to similar venues it's great value for money, particularly considering how much character and versatility it offers. My husband and I found Brinsop Court through Hitched. We decided to go for a viewing and as soon as we drove into the grounds, we fell in love with it. We went in with a date in mind, to coincide with our first date and engagement, however it was already booked, so we went for the one weekend they had available in mid August. Our coordinator, Issy, was absolutely incredible from day one. No request was too large, no question went unanswered. Everything was handled with professionalism and care. For a lot of the planning, it felt like the Brinsop team were more excited about us getting married than we were! Their enthusiasm was unparalleled and we felt we were in safe hands all the way through. Such an incredible time at Brinsop Court for our wedding. We had guests from multiple countries and all over the US fly in for the big day. The Brinsop team were incredible, attentive and made sure that everything was seamless so my wife and I could enjoy our weekend as much as possible. Having the event for the whole weekend really was a difference maker as people got to settle in and explore. The venue is stunning, it’s remote which is fine you just need to be prepared with taxis etc for anyone not staying onsite.
