Me and my wife got married in May this year and chose Woodhaven for the Reception, with a very small number of people, and Nicky has taken all the necessary measures to have an amazing celebration in a safe environment. Nicky has been incredibly diligent since day one, always looking for the best way to accommodate our ideas and also coming up with valuable suggestions as to the best way to organise the party. Nicky has real ecological considerations, from the materials we use to the food we eat. With Nicky's selection of chefs, we asked for dishes with Italian, Portuguese and Indian inspiration - and they were delivered! Delicious food, in a gorgeous setting. Woodhaven is a large, beautiful house with a large, beautiful garden, offering the guests the possibility of enjoying both indoor and outdoor spaces. We can tell cooperation is very important to Nicky as Woodhaven also facilitated our arrangements for flowers, the cake, the photographer, and the drinks. Nicky and her family took care of everything. She sorted and worked alongside our chef and her team, set up tables, chairs etc and ran around us all evening, making sure we felt relaxed. The space is versatile and accommodating of all ideas. Due to restrictions we had to have an outside set up and ended the evening with drinks around the fire pit which our guests loved. We had our wedding reception at Woodhaven and cannot express how wonderful the experience was. Nicky was involved in the planning of the reception: recommending local suppliers, assisting with the food suggestions and generally being a voice of calm during the process! Because of the effort put into planning the day, it really was a stress free, calm and organised day. After our ceremony, we arrived at Woodhaven and found everything all sorted so that we could simply enjoy the afternoon. Our family and friends were well taken care of and found the venue welcoming, cosy and comfortable. We also had children at our wedding and Nicky kindly accommodated for them!
