We had the most magical time. They were with us from start to finish helping to plan with catch up meetings and a menu tasting and the ceremony set up. On the actual date we were there for the whole day from ceremony to reception and the staff were so attentive and flexible to our needs. They even helped phone round every taxi firm in the area to find us transportation when we realised our lift had needed to leave early and we hadn't arranged anything else. I fully recommend Twycross to anyone

We got married on the 19th May 2018 and truly had the best day of our lives. We were at the zoo from ceremony to evening reception. We chose the zoo as it was one of the first places we went on a date together, we both love going to the zoo and we wanted something truly memorable and special for our wedding...and we definitely made the right decision! The team did absolutely everything they could to make the day go smoothly and according to plan. We didn't have to worry about a single thing throughout the whole day. Guests had an amazing time and were so complementary about the day. Wonderful memories were made for all involved and we're so happy with how it turned out. Massive thank you to everyone who helped us plan and execute our

We got married at Twycross Zoo on 18/02/17 and the day was amazing. We chose Twycross as it was somewhere a bit different from the traditional venues and was fun. It definitely exceeded both ours and our guests' expectations. We got married in the Windows on the Wild room, which has its own private entrance and is separate from the main zoo area. This room has lovely views across a pond area, which makes the room nice and light. Following the ceremony, we then had our drinks reception and photos in the Gibbon Forest which guests loved, before we ventured further into the zoo with our photographer (using the zoo buggy we hired- definitely recommended!) to get some couple shots. Following the photos (/time for guests to explore the zoo), we then returned to the Windows on the Wild room which had been set up with all our decorations and looked great. The wedding breakfast itself was delicious and seemed to go down well with all the guests. Being a coeliac this was an aspect of the wedding I was worried about, but I needn't have been as the chef was able to accomodate any dietary requirements (to which there were a few in our party)- including making a special gluten free cheesecake just for me! For the evening reception, we then moved into the Himalaya room (overlooking the snow leopards). This included a DJ who had been booked by Twycross as part of our package, and the use of the soft play facility (an extra cost, but definitely worth it if you have lots of children attending!) A big thank you to Elliot, Kell

We didn't see you to say goodbye so we want to say a massive thank you for all your help and the help of everyone on the day. We had such a fantastic day as did all our guests. Everyone said how brilliant all the staff were and that nobody would have changed a thing. You even made it sunny! We really couldn't have had a better day, you made everything run so smoothly. The girl we did the bookings at champneys through (Mickala) said that they are thinking of having their christmas

Stuart and I had our civil ceremony at Twycross in August. I have worked in the wedding industry for several years and this made us VERY picky and demanding of our venue (it took over a year to find one I liked). I cant find the words to express how happy we were with the service that we received and the quality of the venue, food and, most importantly for us, the staff. From the first contact with Katie Pell, right to the wedding itself, we couldn't have been treated any better. The whole day has been etched into our guests memories and memory cards, and for that we can only say thank you. We chose one of the wedding packages on offer and after seeing the prices most venues charge, this is not only fantastic value, but what other venue do you know that has Snow Leopards dancing the night away with you! If you are thinking about having your wedding or civil ceremony at Twycross, please go and visit and have a chat with Katie and I am sure you will book there and then. If you are still not

"Thank you to everyone at Twycross Zoo for an amazing day, everyone has said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Everyone was brilliant and so friendly, from the bar staff and the zoo keepers, to the golf buggy driver and everyone in between. And a giant thank you to Katie Pell who whilst coming in late in the process of planning our wedding was a brilliant wedding organiser and pulled everything together. The weather held up and the venue was brilliant, having the snow leopards out all night during the reception was amazing and kept the kids entertained all night, as well as providing a bit of hunting practice

"We chose Twycross Zoo since it was a venue with a difference, there is obvious entertainment for guests of all ages – the snow leopards at Himalaya particularly provided entertainment in the evening. The Zoo did not present with a plan for us to follow but told us about the facilities available for us to use in the way we wanted to so we could create the day we wanted and not one which fitted protocol as many wedding venues require. Staff at Twycross were professional, friendly, helpful and well presented they also all appeared to share in the excitement of our day. Particular thanks must be paid to Alma, Charlotte and Katie ready to help with anything required and subtly ensuring that everything went as planned on the day, the even smallest of things were made perfect. Twycross Zoo provided a DJ for us and we were able to submit requests in advance which led to us having a DJ knowledgeable of our preferences and we had a fantastic evening dancing the night away on the dance floor. To conclude: Twycross is a fun, versatile and modern wedding venue with excellent staff, fresh and tasty food and plenty of room to danc

Dear all at Twycross Zoo, Just a quick note to thank you all for helping to make our wedding day so wonderful! From Katie and Neil helping with all the planning to Alma and the table teams making sure the event itself went without a hitch. Everyone has commented on how well the day went, how nice the food was and how lovely the venue was. The kids loved the zoo and as one of the girls said at the next wedding they went too

Upon walking into the main restaurant at Twycross zoo you could not help but be impressed with the design layout and quality of the build, fixtures and fittings, with huge glass windows placing you in the centre of the zoo's enclosure with various animals in what can only be described as touching distance. The Wedding show was busy with a good number of wedding couples interested in looking at the various wedding suppliers. I was extremely pleased that I attended their wedding show and looking forward to their next one in October. As for Twycross Zoo being suitable for a wedding venue, well this is my take on it: different, yes! Unusual, yes! Now, as a contemporary wedding photographer I search for fantastic lighting and areas of creative interest to place my wedding couples in, in a natural stylised way, and this venue is bursting with the right ingredients. One of the main wedding rooms I visited really excited my interest because of the huge glass windows stretching all the way down one side, it would create some beautiful wedding ceremony pictures. The room is uniquely designed and would make for some really fresh and modern wedding images. I would love to make use of the main hall with all its design features, but most of all I would be excited to see this place come alive in the evening with its ambient lighting! All in all I would love to recommend Twycross Zoo, not only to wedding couples but also to visitors as a whole, This Zoo has moved on, it’s not the mus

Thank you for a wonderful day. Everything went perfectly as we planned, thank you so much for the hard work. Everyone was extremely helpful and eager to assist in every way. No grumpy faces to be seen. Everyone was very professional and knew what needed to be done. We felt like VIPs for the day. I loved how well the trip on the land train went down and how much people looked forward to looking round. The drinks by the elephants were brilliant and kept everyone entertained. The reception food was very good and way above many guests expectations. The service again here was exceptional and the fillings perfect. The face painting went down extremely well with young and old and has been a favourite anecdote for many of the guests. The disco was good, I was pleased with the dj, he played exactly what we wanted. The only negative was we did not get to see the snow leopards. But if they could be conditioned to like drum and bass we would very close to perfection! Thank you all Leeanne and Jim
