The Weyside is situated on the banks of the River Wey, nearby to the Yvonne Arnaud theatre and just a short walk from Guildford’s cobbled high street. A stunning riverside location with a large alfresco terrace serving seasonal British food. Your wedding at The Weyside The Weyside is situated on a tranquil bend of the river Wey, with beautiful views across the trees and river life. We have several spaces that we can privatise for your event both indoors and outdoors. Capacities The barn - Our newly refurbished barn, with its exposed beams, has a lovely atmosphere that is perfect for an intimate wedding party. Seated: 20-30 Stading: 30-60 The boathouses - Also newly refurbished, the boatouses have a cosy feel with a fireplace. We privatise this space with the decking at the front leading directly on the river Wey. This space isn't suitable for a sit down meal. Standing: 40-60 The top garden/stretch tent - This space is fully covered with a stretch tent in the winter months providing a large heated space. In the summer months, it is partly covered with a stretch tent leaving the other part uncovered. It is perfect for a buffet like event.
