Our Wedding Day at The Timble Inn – Absolutely Spot On We had our wedding at The Timble Inn and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. From the moment we arrived, everything just ran smoothly — well organised, no stress, no fuss — just exactly what you want on a day like that. The chapel is a lovely, simple space just down the lane, and it felt really personal and relaxed, which suited us perfectly. After the ceremony, the team at the Inn had everything set up and ready to go — we didn’t have to think about a thing. The food was outstanding. À la carte and absolutely faultless — every guest commented on it. It genuinely wouldn’t have been out of place in a high-end restaurant, and it really added something special to the day. The staff were brilliant throughout — friendly, helpful, and always there when needed without being over the top. Special thanks to Enzo, the manager — calm, organised, and just a really decent bloke who clearly knows how to run a great event. We were very keen to have a sophisticated and intimate wedding that reflected our personalities and Timble Inn delivered that in abundance . We chose a three day event where we had the inn exclusively for ourselves and our guests . We had a family Christmas dinner on the evening before our wedding. The next day we had use of the beautiful chapel for our service followed by our wedding breakfast and then a friends celebration dinner on the third day. Everything was exquisite. Each day the food was not only beautiful to eat but beautiful to see. Each plateful was picture perfect and tasted delicious. The rooms were gorgeous and exceeded the expectations of even the most sophisticated traveller. The Inn was a joy to see, full of sparking lights and our own candles and flowers made it look movie set gorgeous. Enzo and his staff were brilliant, so welcoming and attentive. Right from the start the attention to detail was spot on. Enzo was always available on the run up to our special day to make adjustments and tweaks right up to a couple of days before. The setting is stunning, the chapel has a perfect intimate feel to it. The dedicated restaurant also has an intimate feel to it. The food was top class and served all at the same time by the restaurant staff so nobody was sat waiting for their meal. We stayed the night, as did some of our guests. The rooms are all top class and we all had breakfast together in the morning, and what a perfect full English. We chose Timble for our intimate wedding 10 days ago, and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location is stunning and lends itself to beautiful photo opportunities both inside and out (we worked with the brilliant Natalierussellphotography). The chapel was a huge part of the attraction for us, it’s beautifully appointed and when decorated with flowers is just stunning (we worked with the amazing Jo at Heatherandmoss) plus we arranged a violinist to play for the ceremony which created a wonderful atmosphere (the fantastic Emily Harding at Yorkshireviolinist). We hired Timble Inn exclusively which gave us all 9 of the bedrooms - these are beautifully finished and with 5 upstairs close together gave us the ability to room hop whilst I was getting ready for the wedding which was perfect. The various reception rooms give you different options and great fallbacks if the weather is not perfect. We picked The Timble Inn for our intimate autumn wedding as we wanted somewhere cosy and inviting with lovely accommodation on site and they did not disappoint! From start to finish everyone at The Timble Inn was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed for our day. Our theme was quite dark, and Enzo understood our vision and ran with it making the venue look perfect on the day. He made sure we had everything we needed and him and his team provided the most amazing service taking so much stress out of the day! The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable.
