The Red Barn

We very recently held our Wedding at the Red Barn and it’s hard to express in words just how much of an amazing day we had. We fell in love with the venue last December; the character and rustic charm of the main room with the beams and fireplace creates such a warm and relaxing atmosphere, with the beautiful Christmas decorations up it is simply magical and we knew instantly this was where we wanted to get married. So many people commented on how beautiful the room looked and how wonderful the venue was. We want to say a very heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Red Barn for making our day so memorable. A special thank you to Marilyn who took over our wedding planning 3 months before the day; she was truly fantastic, warm and friendly and super organised!! I knew the first time we met that I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing, she made the whole day stress free and to be honest everything just flowed and I didn’t have to get involved in a thing! I have to also say very well done to Ferri the chef and all the kitchen team, the food was absolutely fantastic! (another reason why we chose this venue in the first place) and everyone praised it – especially the individual beef wellingtons which were tender and cooked to perfection. We wish the Red

We recently got married in London and decided to have a blessing party at the Red Barn a few days later with our friends and family. This was booked back in January when they had a new events manger who unfortunately wasn’t the easiest person to make plans with. We stuck with it as we loved the venue, how flexible they had been with our alternative take on a wedding and how excited they were to do something a little different unlike other places. With regular visits throughout the summer Vinnie and the staff were always so welcoming. We enjoyed several meals there introducing the venue to family members in the run up to November. A month or so before we were informed the events manager had left and Marilyn was to take over. From that moment on the attention to detail and reassurance from Marilyn was fantastic. On the night of our party Marilyn ensured everything went off without any issues, made sure we had eaten and that everything happen as it should have done. We had our reception at The Red Barn on Friday and without a doubt they were one of the best groups of people I've ever worked with (I work in events too!) They were organised, professional, cost-effective, flexible to our unique wishes and most importantly friendly through the entire process. The Barn was just perfect for us, with a lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, made extra special because we were able to customise it with our own decorations.
