We couldn’t have asked for a better winter wedding venue. From the initial planning through to the day itself, everything was handled smoothly and professionally, making the entire experience feel easy and stress-free. On the day, the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly, working effortlessly alongside our band, florist, and photographer. Many of our guests commented on how friendly and attentive the staff were, as well as how well organised everything was. The care and attention given to guests with dietary requirements was particularly appreciated. We booked our wedding ceremony at the priests house after visiting the venue and falling instantly in love with the place. Discussed our options with both Steve and conor who were both the friendliest most personable people ever, they really made you feel they cared about making your day perfect. They offered us flexibility that suited our budget. They kept in touch in the lead up, let us come down to check details, try out some decor ideas, not that you need much the venue itself is amazing. The canapés were delicious and good drinks options available. We cannot put into words how stunning the venue and chapel was, even on a cloudy day. Our final planning meeting had us feeling 100% reasured everything would be perfect and it really was. The team helped set the room up, ensure our guests were well looked after, everything worked like clockwork. Their friendly approach and sense of humour put a nervous bride and groom at ease. I really don’t know where to start with the priests house. The photos do not do this place justice, it is a whole other level of out of this world beautiful. From the moment we pulled up in the car park we knew that this was the place for us the whole atmosphere is amazing. The chapel is absolutely breathtaking. From the moment we contacted the venue for a look around everyone was so responsive and went out of their way to be helpful. Steve showed us round and immediately was amazing really working with our vision and budget and really wanting to help us make it our wedding but wasn’t pushy at all. My daughter and her fiancé booked the Priest house for their wedding ceremony and wedding function. They booked one of the twilight packages as Ellis wanted the wedding to be intimate and personal. The wedding took place at 5pm then everything just flowed from that point until midnight. After the ceremony there were canapés and drinks whilst pictures were being taken. We then had the speeches followed by the buffet and disco. OK, so now we know the order of things it's time to review the service we received from the location and staff. The location is absolutely stunning, we were blessed with fine sunny weather but I genuinely believe you will be hard pressed to find a location more suited to an intimate and personal wedding. The place was set up to a very high standard and just looked so inviting. You could not have done a single thing to make it any more the inviting. The owners have all the way through been attentive and responsive and this was carried over to the actual day. Every member of staff there was again, attentive and responsive but it didn't feel like they were 'staff'. It actually felt like they were all part of the ceremony and we were all there to celebrate whilst maintaining their professionalism. They were brilliant and are an absolute credit to themselves. The Priest House is very fortunate to have people with this kind of attitude and it reflects brilliantly on the venue and management. Everything we asked for we got. The canapés, drinks and food were excellent. The whole wedding just flowed perfectly and as Ellis said to me, it was the best day of their lives (so far !) We recently had the privilege of getting married at this lovely venue. We had a truly amazing day and would just like to extend our gratitude to Debbie and her team who were all utterly fantastic. They made both ourselves and our guests feel calm, relaxed and very welcome and could not have done enough for us to make sure we were happy on our big day, despite the rain. I first noticed this venue whilst out running pre engagement. It’s rural location and rustic charm caught my eye. Debbie and Steve were very prompt with communication and we booked to view after confirming they would allow our dog to be part of the day. Wow, the chapel is stunning and the light floods in creating a truly special place. We knew nothing would compare and agreed a date. We loved how it was family run, it always felt personal and Debbie knows the venue inside out. It took the stress away and the attention to detail was meticulous. In the lead up to the wedding we went up for Sunday lunch and attended the open day. We knew our guests would be well fed and Debbie would create our vision for the day. They have plenty of decorations which are free to use. The day itself was perfect and everything as expected. Many guests commented how much they loved the venue and how great the food was, including the portion size. They also plan to come back for Sunday lunch! This venue is truly memorable and you always feel part of the family and not just a customer. Would 100% recommend.
