We honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue than The newly refurbished Grange Hotel for our wedding. From our first visit, it felt elegant and romantic but still relaxed and modern — exactly what we wanted as a young couple. The refurbishment has been done beautifully. The interiors feel fresh and stylish while keeping all the character of the building, and the views over Morecambe Bay are absolutely stunning. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous the venue was. The wedding team were incredible from start to finish. They were friendly, organised, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Everything ran smoothly, which meant we could relax and fully enjoy the day without any stress. The food was amazing — easily some of the best wedding food we’ve had — and the service throughout the day and evening was spot on. Having the hotel rooms on-site was a huge bonus too, especially after a long day of celebrating. The bridal suite was amazing, standard rooms were beautiful and so comfortable, and guests loved being able to stay over and enjoy the spa facilities. We had the most amazing day at the Grange hotel for our wedding, better than we could of ever imagined. Everything was perfect. We booked the Grange last minute due to our initial wedding venue going into administration 6 weeks before our big day in May this year. We hadn't even come across the Grange when looking, but it's safe to say these guys seriously pulled it out of the bag to accommodate us and all of our guests so last-minute! The staff were extremely friendly and happy to take any special requests - nothing felt like too much to ask for and the team really make you feel at ease. Our day was everything we hoped for, The Grange was a lovely venue, I loved the look in the Grange bay room with its beautiful high ceilings, so light and bright and the flowers from Brackens of Bowness really added to the feel of the room. Grange Hotel was truly a remarkable place to celebrate our Wedding on 24th May 2024. First of all, we would like to send a huge thank you to Katie, our Wedding Coordinator. She was extremely hard working and dedicated her time to ensuring we had the most fantastic and perfect day. The day went so smoothly and we were very impressed with how beautiful she made all the rooms look. We would also love the thank the kitchen staff, waiting staff and housekeeping team. They were all so friendly and worked hard to ensure the seamless delivery of service. The meal was gorgeous and we have received many compliments on how tasty everything was. We loved our wedding at The Grange Hotel and Phoebe was AMAZING. She made it work for us and was so helpful. She went above and beyond, clearly working very hard in the background to make it right. It is a lovely location, a lovely hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were married at the Grange Hotel in October, 2013. We could not have asked for a lovelier, happier place to be married. We looked at about 15 venues before we chose the Grange. The reason it stood out is because they only ever hold one wedding each day, and the setting, facilities, gardens and lovely staff are impossible to beat! We were offered full use of all 4 amazing function rooms for our celebrations. And deciding which of the 4 honeymoon suites to choose was so difficult because they're all gorgeous. Another important bonus is that the packages are all clearly itemised so you know exactly what you are getting with no hidden extra expenses to shock you. Some venues even told us we had to have a ridiculous minimum spend, whereas the Grange let us use their fantastic silver candelabras for our table décor, and pretty glass & silver lanterns to light up the aisle - with their compliments. It`s this kind of generous spirit that sets them apart. Most of all, we felt we were in professional and safe hands. Angela, the Wedding Co-ordinator is an absolute gem and helped us to organise our perfect dream wedding, even though we had some quite strange requests!
