We got married on Sunday at TAP and honestly, it makes me emotional even trying to find the words. Angie and her team are honestly amazing. The venue, the house, the grounds, the marquee - everything was just perfect. Nothing was too much trouble - we had some issues with the weather but the team carried the stress without letting me know. Angie was like my comfort blanket and I really appreciated that throughout the day. The owner Paul, is also fantastic. Thank you for letting us have our wedding at TAP. Had my wedding here on 8th August and from the very 1st visit in February and meeting Angie, everything was done as easy as can be when organising a wedding. Angie has been responsive, helpful and clear with all details and costs. Helping me and my partner execute our vision for the day, to ensuring the day ran like clockwork. The guests were all treated amazingly, drinks flowed and all the rooms were ready. Angie ensured all the suppliers - decorator, DJ, caterers had everything they needed. The bridal suite was ready for our arrival and everything we needed was available, including a fan given the heat!! That Amazing Place is very local to us, we walk past with our dogs most days and always thought it looked stunning! The moment we walked in to That Amazing Place to meet Angie and have a look around, we knew it was where we wanted to get married…. as we sat down our song was playing! Our experience at That Amazing Place truly lived up to its name from start to finish. From the moment we attended the open day, we knew straight away that it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Angie and the entire team were exceptional throughout the whole process. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was thought of and nothing was too much trouble. Any questions or requests we had were dealt with quickly and professionally, which made the planning process so much less stressful. What an Amazing Place indeed… and what Amazing People. Angie helped to make the planning and the day stress free and a wonderful experience. We had a September wedding in the main house with 80 day guests and over 120 in the evening. Full use of the house and bedrooms made it feel like home. The guests said how great it was to start in the bar area with its cosy sofas and our acoustic guitarist singer (Marc Oliver). A quick pre wedding drink and some light snacks got them off to a good start. Then into the lake view room for the ceremony which was stunning. From there to canapés and more music enjoying the late September sunshine whilst eating and drinking reception drinks. Next entering the dining room which looked so romantic to a welcome shot which they kindly allowed us to bring with a gorgeous main meal and dessert (Lizzie from Magpie Catering) with wine flowing and speeches with Prosecco … the drinks package is extremely generous and I would recommend. After that back to the main house for the evening party. We managed to fit in a DJ (Andy from Herts Events) and a 4 piece band (The Dukes) … the dance floor was full from the beginning to the end. From the moment we first visited, we were completely blown away by the beauty of the grounds. They are absolutely stunning – the perfect backdrop for our special day, and every corner felt like it was made for magical memories and gorgeous photos. What truly made the experience exceptional was the team – especially our incredible coordinators, Angie and Louise. These two are absolute stars. From day one, they were so warm, organised, and genuinely passionate about making our day as perfect as possible. No question was too small, no idea too big – they gave me complete freedom to dream and helped bring every detail to life even better than I imagined. We recently had our wedding here and it was an unforgettable day! Paul, the owner of TAP himself, was very involved and so accommodating and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. With so many amazing photo opportunities. Out guests have absolutely raved about it since the day! The only thing I need mention is that if you’re not a dog person there are loads of the furry fellas roaming the grounds…and one roamed a little too close and walked over the train of my wife’s wedding dress seconds before she walked down the aisle 🤣 no harm done in the end though! In particular a MASSIVE mention to Louise our coordinator, she was so helpful and kind. From the build up to and on the day of she made the whole event a well oiled machine.
