Silvermere Inn on the Lake

I would highly recommend this venue Silvermere to anyone. The location is good and the venue is stunning especially in good weather. We had our wedding on the 24th of April 2026 and I am soo happy we did. Everything about it was great, it was booked in advance and we had a few staff changers but I honestly was looked after all the way. The team was outstanding, both the day shift and night shift, they looked after us extremely well. The food was good and I enjoyed it. We would highly recommend this venue as the views on my wedding day with the best weather in April made everyone speechless. They helped me manage my wedding as I didnt have a wedding planning and was doing everything on my own. Its not only for weddings, its for parties, dinner and a roast lunch on Sunday! ?????We had our wedding at Silvermere on the 21st September 2019. I can honestly say that my husband ( only just getting used to that ??) and i truly had THE BEST day ever. We got married on Saturday (24th August) and had our wedding reception at silvermere, From the moment we viewed it we new it was perfect. Perfect is an understatement, it looked so beautiful and Elegent and everyone was complimenting the venue. The arrival drinks sat by the lake with the piano playing was absolutely stunning! WOW! Everything about this venue is 5*+!! The setting is magical, the food is just incredible and the facilities are so well suited to a wedding. What made it our chosen venue through was Liza, the wedding co-ordinator. Words cannot describe how perfect she made our day. From our initial meeting right through to the end of the day she made us feel so special and relaxed. Her experience is evident when she suggests things that hadn't even crossed our minds and gave advice and hints to help us make the ultimate decision rather than 'this is the way we do it' which is what we experienced at some other venues we looked at. Even the small things meant so much, I got food on my dress during our meal and Liza was right there with a damp cloth making sure it was all off before the evening celebrations began. We got married at Silvermere 6 weeks ago and I still can’t quite find the words to describe just how perfect it was. Liza is amazing.. she’s so friendly, professional and honestly didn’t mind all contact with stupid questions. When viewing wedding venues shortly after getting engaged as soon I got to the top of the beautiful staircase at Silvermere I knew.. this is place I HAD to have our wedding day (luckily hubby to be felt the same). Liza was absolutely brilliant. What we liked about her was that she was very approachable and friendly, always happy to meet up with us and discuss our plans. She was very organised and professional and she did a great job arranging the decorations for us. We were both stressed leading up to the day and she did a great job putting us both at ease. We also thought that the newly decorated venue looked lovely, lots of our guests commented on how nice it was and we would definitely consider using it again in future if we were having a big event/party. Please pass our comments onto Liza so she knows how much we appreciated all her hard work – we really hope she stays at Silvermere for a long time to come, we think you might struggle to find another wedding planner as good as her!
