We had our beautiful wedding here on 27th August, and we truly had the best day of our lives! ❤️ Sam and the whole team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were so hands-on and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. They even did a test run of serving our BBQ wedding breakfast table by table. They did a superb job and were highly professional throughout. All of the staff at the Lodge were so attentive and went above and beyond for us. We stayed overnight at the venue, and the restaurant team even kept a piece of the delicious cheesecake on their dessert menu especially for me to enjoy the morning of the wedding. They brought it up to my room along with a bottle of Prosecco. The Lodge’s wedding suppliers were also fantastic. We had a magician, Paula the saxophonist, and Ian the DJ, who all helped make the day so memorable. We also had the pleasure of having the venues supplier photographer, Connor Finch, who was absolutely lovely and had such a calm and reassuring influence throughout the day. We had our wedding here in March this year and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, the service was excellent — we had regular meetings in the lead-up to make sure everything was planned and ran smoothly on the day. The staff were absolutely amazing and took care of everything, meaning we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. It made the whole day completely stress-free and allowed us to just enjoy every moment. My daughter had her wedding reception at the lodge on a Monday evening - a twilight wedding. We were able to get into the marquee early on the Monday morning to decorate and the Photo Booth, Dj were able to get access readily whilst we attended the ceremony elsewhere so they could set up. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious, they chose the hot buffet of seven items and it was a perfect amount for the 70 guests. The grounds outside are beautiful, perfect for unforgettable photographs with manicured gardens

Overall a good venue to hold a wedding. Marquee is beautifully decorated and clean. Has some lovely surroundings for photos to be taken. The staff worked hard on the day and ensured everything run smoothly. Ian the dj done a great job interacting with guests and met all our requests exactly how we asked. We opted for the bbq food and had approximately 82 guests including children. Bbq food was a little disappointing as burger and chicken kebab was very dry and only slightly warm. A couple of guests commented about this and in addition remarked that there wasnt a great variety of sides and salads. From the minute we booked Samantha and Anne were helpful and accommodating. Anything I asked Samantha she would reply to every one of my queries. Even when I wanted to make amendments after my itinerary was made she was most helpful making changes. My decor looked stunning and my guests all commented how beautiful the venue was! The roast carvery was delicious and I had comments from my vegetarian guests that the beetroot wellington was divine. On the evening of my wedding nothing was too much trouble for Samantha and Anne and the bar staff were really friendly and helpful. I had childcare for my son who has additional needs and they made sure she was looked after and ensured they took her a meal and drinks outside when she couldn’t sit at the table. Ian the dj , well he was great , a good host , confident and great music for the evening disco.

I had viewed a few venues and they didn’t come close to what I had visioned. We were getting married in Cyprus but I wanted a Uk party, all the venues I’d looked at weren’t ticking the boxes, and then a friend recommended the Lodge. As soon as I walked in I fell in love. Everyone says not everything will go to plan and no ones day is perfect, but I can tell you ours was ! Everything ran so smoothly and was absolutely perfect for us. Absolutely brilliant communication between ourselves, Sam & Anne... everything was done within a timely manner and they done everything possible to make our dream day as close to perfect on what was controllable. The grounds itself is absolutely beautiful, pictures do not do it justice, you have to see it yourself! The staff were so lovely with us, checking in to make sure we were okay and happy with everything. It was honestly perfect for us! And it was all done within 4months!
