We had a really lovely wedding at Pembroke Lodge and would definitely recommend the venue to other couples. The venue itself is beautiful. I was initially worried that the gardens might look a little brown after the lack of rain, but I was pleasantly surprised on the day. The grounds were kept very well, with lovely green grass and flowers throughout the garden. It made such a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. The wedding day itself ran very smoothly. Time absolutely flew by, but everything stayed on schedule and we felt very well looked after. Sid, the Events Manager, was particularly helpful on the day. He did a great job managing the timeline and making sure everything moved along as it should. Lucy was also very helpful in the lead up to the wedding, particularly with email communication. The food was good and having the catering in house definitely made things much less stressful. It was lovely to have everything served warm without having to coordinate with an external caterer. There were a couple of things during the planning process that were a little confusing. Pembroke Lodge normally serves the wedding cake in the evening, but we wanted to serve ours as the dessert instead. We were initially told this would not be a problem, but when we later confirmed the arrangements, we were told there would be an additional £8 per person charge. We felt this was quite steep for cutting and serving a cake that was not made by the venue, particularly as changing our main course to duck was £7.50 per person. We ultimately served the cake with coffee outside the meal instead, which worked perfectly well. I would recommend confirming any changes to the standard catering arrangements and associated charges early on, as there seemed to be some miscommunication around this and we ended up having two pre wedding meetings rather than one. The other thing I would mention is the air conditioning. When I viewed the venue, I was told there would be four AC units in the dining room, and this was later revised to three. On the wedding day, there were actually only two AC units and two fans. Unfortunately, our wedding was in August and it reached around 28°C, so the dining room did get quite warm. The Russell Suite is also south facing, which certainly did not help on such a warm day. The AC units were relatively small for the size of the room and struggled to make much of a difference. I completely appreciate that nobody in London was particularly prepared for that level of heat 😅, but if you are planning a summer wedding, it is definitely something I would ask about and have a plan for. If you are considering the Russell Suite specifically, one thing to be aware of is that the entrance is shared with cafe guests, so it is less private than the other suite at the venue. We had a few random people appearing in our photos and even had some cafe guests asking to take photos with me! 😅 It was actually quite funny and made for some memorable moments, but it is worth knowing about if privacy is important to you. The first floor, however, is for private use, so once we went upstairs after the ceremony we did not encounter any strangers. I would also recommend thinking carefully about your guests' exit plan. We had quite a few guests struggle to get Ubers and taxis at the end of the evening, as the security at the gate would not open the gate for some of the cars. We had chartered a bus for our guests, so thankfully this worked smoothly for us. In fact, it worked a little too well as guests from another wedding at Pembroke Lodge ended up joining our bus because they were also having trouble getting transport out! 😅 Definitely have a clear plan for getting your guests home, especially if your wedding finishes later in the evening. One thing we really appreciated was how flexible they were with our decorations. We were able to deliver our non perishable decorations the day before, and the team set everything up according to our instructions. We could then collect the decorations the day after the wedding, along with our leftover cake, which made the whole process much easier. Overall, we had a fantastic day and were very happy with our choice of venue. There were a few communication issues during the planning process and some practical things we would recommend future couples prepare for, but none of these took away from what was ultimately probably the best day of our lives. ❤️ We would definitely recommend Pembroke Lodge. The beautiful setting, helpful staff and smooth running of the wedding made it a really enjoyable experience. Just make sure you clarify the finer details during planning, think ab

We had the absolute best day of our lives celebrating our wedding at Pembroke Lodge! While the venue and surroundings are obviously breathtaking, the true standout is the incredible team behind it all. Every single person we worked with throughout the process was professional, warm, and deeply accommodating. We felt fully supported from our very first planning meeting right through to the end of the big day. Getting married in the Russell Suite was pure magic. The flow between the stunning indoor setup and the beautiful outdoor spaces made the whole event feel seamless and relaxed. We couldn't have asked for a

We want to thank Sid, Lucy and the whole team at Pembroke Lodge for giving us such a perfect wedding day- it could not have gone any better! We hired the Russell Suite in mid-August for ~60 day guests and ~80 evening guests. Lucy was incredibly helpful with my (many!) emails leading up to the day, answering all my questions and helping resolve any queries we had. The day went as well as I had hoped, and planned, and we were thrilled with how it all turned out. The service on the day was great. The food is very nice (on the slightly pricey side, but it was great quality and we were very impressed at our tasting) and the venue was perfect. Sid was very helpful in directing everyone to the right places and calming me down(!) and ensuring the day went smoothly. Our only criticism was that there was some confusion over whether we were allowed a tiered ‘cheesecake’ as well as a traditional wedding cake, which resulted in some back and forth discussions however we decided to just have the traditional cake in the end. The Russell Suite was great as a venue having the different rooms that people could retreat to (the bar/reception area, the courtyard outside, the breakfast/ceremony ro

Wow, what an absolutely perfect day! This venue is stunning, but it’s the team that really make the experience. Nelson was the absolute best and kept the whole day running so smoothly. The kitchen team worked incredibly hard and produced the most delicious food. Our friends and family haven't stopped complimenting the seamless flow, Nelson's amazing hosting, and the food ( how can I get more of that sticky toffee pudding?!). Planning was also made so easy because Lucy and the team were always so quick to reply to our questions. W

Daiane and I could not have been happier with our wedding at Pembroke Lodge. It is an extraordinarily beautiful place to get married, and the combination of the setting in Richmond Park, the house and gardens, and the atmosphere of the venue made the whole day feel very special. From the planning stages through to the wedding itself, everything was handled with enormous care and professionalism. A particular thank you must go to Robert and Lucy, who looked after us so brilliantly as our wedding organisers. They were patient, responsive and reassuring throughout the process, helped us work through all the many details that went into organising our wedding, and made us feel that the day was genuinely in safe hands. Both were wonderfully helpful in the final run-up, when there were so many last-minute things to organise. On the day, everything came together beautifully. The ceremony, wedding breakfast, evening reception and all the transitions between them felt effortless. The staff were warm, attentive and unobtrusive, and our guests were extremely complimentary about both the venue and the way the day was run. Pembroke Lodge feels grand and historic without ever feeling impersonal. It also seems to be good value when considering similar options. With its views across Richmond Park and the gardens outside, it was exactly the kind of elegant but relaxed summer wedding we had hoped for. We have incredibly happy memories of our wedding on 17 July 2026, and are very grateful to Robert, Lucy and the whole Pembroke Lodge team for the part they played in making

Pembroke Lodge was always my dream wedding venue, and they absolutely did not disappoint. From the planning stages through to the wedding day itself, the entire team was warm, friendly, and incredibly supportive. They made the whole experience feel seamless and gave us confidence that we were in safe hands every step of the way. On the day, everything was perfect. The staff were attentive and welcoming to our guests, and the level of service they delivered went far beyond our expectations. The food and drinks were amazing, and our guests had an absolutely wonderful time. A special thank you to Robert, who was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout. Just before I walked down the aisle, he helped fix my wedding dress, something he certainly didn't have to do, but a gesture that perfectly reflects how invested the whole team was in making sure our day was a success. Looking back on our wedding fills my husband and I with so much happiness and emotion. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team and would wholeheartedly recommen

There is no question that the venue is absolutely stunning, and our event planner was so thorough and professional. The food was divine and what a beautiful backdrop of Richmond Park! However, it was an extremely hot day and granted, Pembroke Lodge cannot control the weather, but the conservatory was still too hot for the sit down meal despite the AC units. And on the terrace, we asked if they could supply umbrellas but they said we would have to supply our own?! I feel like the venue should provide what is needed for guest comfort given the price that we are already paying. In the end, our guests had to huddle under trees off to the side because there was not a spot of shade which meant that our string quartet were just abandoned and playing on their own. This was a slight disappointment to an otherwis

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day or venue - it exceeded all of our expectations! From the very beginning of the planning process, Nicola and Nelson were incredibly organised, responsive, and always happy to answer our questions, making everything feel completely stress-free. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, and a huge thank you goes to Nelson. He made sure we didn't have to think about a single thing, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. It was clear how much he genuinely cared, and so many of our guests commented on how amazing he was. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and we've received nothing but positive feedback from our guests about both the setting and the service. Thank you t

Our wedding at Pembroke Lodge in the Belvedere Suite was amazing, we got married on the 9th July 2026 and it was boiling but the staff did everything to help us and our guests stay comfortable. The venue is gorgeous as is the gardens all around. Robert our event manager is an absolute gem and we can't thank him enough for everything he did in the planning and on the day. All the other staff were also great, so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. The food and drinks were amazing, we got so many compliments on our wedding breakfast and the drinks reception, with people saying it was some of the best they'd experienced at weddings. Pembroke Lodge is a dream of a wedding venue. Everything from the day itself to the planning, logistics and communication in the lead-up were pitch-perfect. All our questions were responded to quickly and with so much care and warmth. And hats off to our event coordinator Nelson, who is clearly a pro at what he does! We felt in such safe hands every step of the way - he always brought such fun and energy both in the lead-up to, and on, our special day. And what a day it was! We had the best day of our lives, without a doubt. The venue, the views, the food, the seamlessness of the whole operation. We can't thank the team enough for making it so perfect. From the beginning of our journey to getting married, we were looking for different venues to host our wedding reception, the moment we saw Pembroke Lodge, we knew this was the place for us. The stunning views, the beautiful interior of the Russel Suite and the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff meant that this was the perfect choice. Attending a showcase was really helpful in seeing what the Russell suite might be like on the actual day and meeting some of the suppliers. We first met Nicola who went through all the packages with us and everything was clear and helpful. As we did not have any experience in doing this, the staff were very helpful in assisting us to organise our big day. All the communications were straightforward and the preparations leading up to and on the day itself, nothing was a problem. With

We got married in the Russell Suite on 13th June 2026. The entire experience with Pembroke Lodge, Robert, Kelvin, Lucy, Nicola and everyone else was exceptional. Pembroke Lodge is an extremely beautiful venue at all times of year but the gardens were particularly beautiful in June! Our emails and questions were responded to very promptly for the entire period leading up to the wedding and it was clear everything was very well organised. It was very easy to get the plans sorted. On the day I didn't worry about a thing because the staff at Pembroke Lodge managed every element so well and everything ran exactly to plan! All of the food and drink was lovely. The butternut squash risotto was a particular highlight. I would strongly recommend Pembroke Lodge to anyone for an amazing wedding, and it's fantastic value for money as well.
