We had a short legal ceremony at York Register Office and then an intimate dinner with just close family and friends at No. 1. We cannot recommend it enough - the staff were so friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and the rooms were great. The location was particularly good for us as we had elderly guests in our group who could do the short walk to the Register Office. The hotel is really quirky and cool and we all absolutely loved the pantry. The whole weekend was so special

From the lead-up to the day itself, and even afterwards, the team went above and beyond to make us feel looked after and supported. Neither of us expected our ceremony and wedding breakfast to feel quite so special because this was our legal ceremony before a larger wedding next year, but the experience exceeded all of our expectations.
