We had an absolute amazing wedding at the leonardo of murrayfield. Tracey and john went above and beyond all our expectations from the very start which made our day extra special. John done all the running of the day which went really well the meal and buffet was perfect too chef done an amazing job .we used robertson events for the room dressing and what an amazing job he done the rooms looked so beautiful and added the extra with a lightup ile and dance floor we also used kris sole photography who does weddings at the hotel which made the pictures getting taken very smooth.everyone is telling us its by far the best wedding they have been to. From the initial meeting with Tracey to the Wedding Day everything was faultless. Tracey listened as I described the wedding I was looking for and offered suggestions to enhance my day that I had not considered. Although numbers etc changed Tracey was helpful and accommodated all changes. Doug who supplied the Light up Dance Floor, Post Box, Chair coverings and Love Letter was also extremely helpful and so friendly and always prepared to go the extra mile. On the day John McDonald was on hand to keep me calm and walk me through the days events. John was patient and went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect day. John also packed up all our items from the day so we just had to load them into the car the next day. Bar service was also efficient and staff really helpful and friendly. Food was great and there was plenty of it. All | had to do was turn up as everything was handled for me. The area the ceremony took place was absolutely stunning with all chairs covered and the red carpet added the perfect touch. The only negative was the repair work being made to the roof in the conservatory however Doug managed to dress this up to detract from the scaffolding. I have been to lots of weddings at this venue and have always been impressed however i loved the fact that Tracey tailored made the wedding to fit our requirements. We had our wedding reception here after having our ceremony on a different date. We arranged a viewing with Tracey, she showed us around and helped us in vision what it would look like with our theme and everything else we had planned. Tracey also gave us a list of recommended vendors for things such as DJ, events companies and cake suppliers which made it so much simpler for us when it came to booking these especially when they already had experience of setting up in the venue as knew what would look great. Straight away we knew this was the ideal venue and booked our date there and then. The communication with Tracey in the months leading up to the reception was great then we had a final meeting to go over all the little details a couple weeks before. On the day of the staff were very attentive and helpful. They even took over helping me do the decorations as I was running behind. I went to get ready and when I came down I was amazed by what a great job they’d done and how beautiful the venue looked right down to all the small details.
