A fantastic venue for weddings and otherwise. A few of the resources could do with a little updating e.g dancefloor/ table linen - but the overall service was exceptional from start to finish. We had to re-schedule our wedding (for a date a year later) and all efforts were made to ensure our second date was a success including liaising with our vendors and wedding coordinators. The venue and staff were very accomodating for our caribbean style wedding and went above and beyond. We (A&J) chose Glenmore House as the venue to host our wedding reception on the 30th August 2025 and it was truly incredible! Viewing: Organising a viewing was seamless. Robert and Faye gave a good tour of the venue (including the suite where our reception would take place and the bar area for welcoming) being completely transparent about costs and packages. Food Tasting: Once again, pretty smooth. We coordinated with Faye the times and dates we were available and were provided with all the food and drink choices we asked for. The Day: The evening reception at Glenmore house was magnificent. Faye and the team ensured everything went well from serving our guests, to making sure we were in the loop about what was going on before we entered the main suite. The food (3 course meal & evening buffet) was absolutely amazing with our guests to this day complementing the quality and portion sizes. They also served teas and coffees after the meal which went down a treat with our guests (a graceful cheer!) Moreover, we were able to do everything we wanted, including an outfit change, which the team provided a room for us to get changed and keep our belongings safe. The location is also wonderful and is very accessible for guests via all types of transport. If couples are weighing the decision of whether to opt for Glenmore House or another venue, I would strongly encourage you to seriously consider Glenmore House. Planning a wedding is a stressful thing and even on the day you're constantly worrying about everything and everyone. Faye and the team at Glenmore House made the experience so perfect in the lead up and the day that we felt totally comfortable letting them handle everything and focus on ourselves and our wedding. The venue was beautiful, the staff were fantastic, the food was phenomenal (I was too nervous to eat a lot of it unfortunately but the bits I did have were amazing!). Faye put me entirely at ease from the moment we first engaged her and the team and Glenmore and was even emailing with me at 1am when we had some people drop out and I was panicking! My favourite thing about the whole experience was how bespoke it was. My partner and I did not have a lot of money for the wedding and we were cutting costs left right and centre. Faye laid out all of our options, the prices of EVERYTHING and what we could add or remove. We managed to get exactly what we wanted for an amazing price and all of our guests were very impressed with the venue (especially when we said the price of it all!). Glenmore House is an amazing venue and so close to Surbiton station which makes easier for people to travel to. Plenty of free parking space and there is a garden direct opposite for pictures opportunity. My husband and I fell in love with this venue and we decided to hold our wedding on 16th September 2023 at the Elizabethan Suite. It was a perfect and amazing wedding experience. I couldn’t recommend this venue more. Absolutely stunning Elizabethan Suite was what we chose for our ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception. Faye and the team were on hand throughout the planning, the lead up and on the day! She even sorted my dress out as I walked up the aisle. The food was delicious, service was fantastic and everything ran so smoothly! The drinks pricing is the best around and our guests loved the fact that it was more than affordable!
