We recently got married at Froyle Park Country Estate and we were not disappointed. Our guests had the best time and the venue with its amazing character and staff set the scene for the best day of our lives. The outdoor area is phenomenal and the various rooms with beautiful ballroom will take your breath away. Go and take a look and you will fall

The venue is undoubtedly stunning. It captures phenomenal pictures. The day was beautiful and it was clear that our friends and family thought the same. As experiences go, it’s a split one. Many of the staff were very hospitable, but there are clear areas they can improve. There biggest downfall is there communication. The moment up to signing the contract for the day was epic with constant support. The rest of the year felt transactional with comms only when payments were due. Up to the day we had to ask for meetings where as I think it could be more forthcoming to put minds at ease. There was communication that we would receive an email the day before. We had to ring at midday and ask for this. By arrival of 3pm we had still not received it, no one greeted us and it felt awkward as another wedding was happening. I asked if I had missed anything by not having the email and they said no. I was let into the hideaway but then again had to ask to get into each of the room. Little I know but these little things you’re chasing is not what you want to do. We left for some food locally and when we got back our key codes didn’t work so again having to ask for entry. The next morning we had been told that Kalm would be in or one of the team would to collect the wine and all the set up stuff we had from the hideaway at 8am. This was a consistent time throughout planning. The grooms party arrived at 10am and had to move everything. Regardless whether this is the caterer or Froyle, we were informed the team would have it covered and the wine should have been in the fridge earlier etc. I was also told by one of the team not to panic - not Tash that we have loads of time as I asked when she came in at 8.30am with breakfast pastries. She also said the honeymoon suite was not used last night and we could go anytime we wanted before 10.30am as agreed. I got the hairdressing team and make up artists ready and called to Tash at 9am and said we were ready and she said they weren’t. I said you have to be as they have all packed and were ready to move. They did assist as we said we have to as wasting time and so we did which meant the cleaners were still doing the honeymoon suite when we went in. I just wanted to be up there so I understand we pushed this but the comms was an issue on Froyles behalf and it felt messy. This did mean photos were rushed more than I would have liked. The day was great overall… there was a later issue with the band not setting up easily and our event organiser told us eventually but I still felt this could have been solved by Froyle/ there way of connecting music systems could be much easier. The late night security take over felt like a contractor. Very abrupt/ not friendly to guests and didn’t even end our last song they just turned on the lights and cut the last song. That should have been Froyle not a security team. The lights in the room and hallway (new and apparently add ambiance but we never saw these on) we also had to ask to be dimmed even though we mentioned this twice on calls prior to the day. There are other things but I am told that is on the caterer and not Froyle. As I have shared, I don’t think there is anything that I wouldn’t expect from anyone else as a supplier of a venue in the wedding industry. These things are going to happen. It just felt the drive is more to be a venue that is a winner of all the awards yet negating the important part. Every one will have its flaws but I do believe they over communicate more than they deliver and we had to chase as bride and groom far more than we should have. Would it change our mind if we were doing it all again. Probably not, the venue was exactly what we wanted, and the day was incredible, we know that little things would crop up as with any big event. However, the things that were the bigger issues were the stuff we were told would happen and we would get and then we had to keep chasing or we didn’t receive which was really sad and disappointing. Overall, the venue was what we wanted and all of our guests were in awe of the venue and surroundings and none of our guests were aw

The Froyle Park team were no short of amazing. They have made the process so incredibly easy. They have a WhatsApp chat which is monitored very often and reply to your messages quickly and efficiently. They have a beautiful venue which is very good value for money and work with some amazing suppliers. The venue itself is stunning, and has incredible options for weddings. The team feel like friends, rather than suppliers. They check in and sup

I absolutely loved Froyle park. The indoor and outdoor spaces at the venue are phenomenal. So beautiful and breathtaking. I couldn’t stop hearing compliments all day!! The venue has an absolute wow factor. I cannot fault the service, the staff are attentive and so responsive. From the moment I booked my initial viewing to post wedding. I love the team and they are so available and caring. They facilitate the whole registry and interviews which help the day run smoothly. Logistically, Froyle park has lots of services. Getting ready spaces, parking and indoor/outdoor. They have eve

We recently had our winter wedding at Froyle Park after a few years of planning. We had some concerns after reading other reviews, especially on the sound limiter, heating and other slight restrictions. I’d like to assure potential customers that we had no issues and the sound was absolutely fine (we had a two piece band/DJ). We had the best day and we believe if you research, ask questions and read the t&c’s in detail you should have no surprises and no issues. Tasha was extre

Our wedding at Froyle Park Country Estate was honestly magical from start to finish. The place looks amazing in photos but feels even better in person, and it created the perfect backdrop for the whole day. The staff were super helpful and always on hand, making sure we had everything we needed so we could just enjoy ourselves without worrying about a thing. All day long our guests kept coming up to us saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to, which made it feel even more special. We walked away with

Our wedding day at Froyle Park started wonderfully. Up until around 5pm, the day time staff were exceptional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The ceremony and daytime experience were everything we hoped for, I want to express my gratitude to the daytime team for helping create such a special start to our celebration. Unfortunately, what began as a dream day was overshadowed by serious issues, both the night before and during the evening reception, and by the venue’s inadequate handling of our concerns afterwards. Security breach (night before the wedding): While staying in the Hideaway apartment with my bridesmaids, two strangers (guests from another wedding) entered our accommodation in the early hours, coming into the bedroom and switching on the light. We later learned that this occurred because the door code had not been changed between weddings and using the same code was standard procedure at Froyle Park. Although the intruders meant no harm and were simply intoxicated and confused, this was an alarming and unacceptable breach of security that left me shaken and unable to sleep on the eve of my wedding. It could easily have been far worse had the individuals had ill intentions. The fact that this was even possible demonstrates a clear failure in Froyle Park’s safeguarding and guest-safety procedures. Evening reception disruption: During the evening reception, there was a Wi-Fi outage at the venue, which prevented the bar from processing card payments. Many guests were turned away for not having cash. What made this so frustrating was the total absence of communication from the Froyle Park team. Neither my partner nor I were informed of the problem; we discovered it ourselves when guests began approaching us confused and embarrassed about being refused service. Our DJ ultimately used his personal hotspot to get the bar’s payment system up and running again, but doing so meant he couldn’t play music at the same time. As a result, our carefully planned schedule for the evening was disrupted, with musical performances having to be delayed or cancelled altogether. The atmosphere and flow of the evening we’d envisioned were lost. While we understand that technical issues can arise, the lack of any contingency plan for a Wi-Fi outage, especially given the venue’s remote countryside location and poor mobile signal, was inexcusable. For an event hosting 270 guests, reliant on connectivity for both bar payments and entertainment, there should have been clear backup systems in place. Even more concerning was the lack of visible leadership or ownership from the evening management team. Staff were difficult to locate, dismissive when approached, and failed to communicate or take responsibility. As the bride and groom, we found ourselves walking around the venue trying to find someone, anyone, who could help. This is not the experience expected when paying a premium price for an “all-inclusive, seamlessly coordinated” wedding. Post-event handling: After the wedding, we submitted a detailed written complaint. The reply we received downplayed everything, calling the security breach merely “distressing” and the reception issues “unforeseen technical difficulties.” There was no phone call from management and our request for a meeting was ignored. The compensation offered, less than 1% of our total package, was insulting given the seriousness of the failures. The tone of the correspondence only deepened our disappointment. These were not small inconveniences but major operational and safety breakdowns that had a significant impact on our once-in-a-lifetime day. We truly wish this review could have been about gratitude for a perfect celebration, and for several hours during the day, it genuinely was. The venue is stunning, and the daytime team deserve praise for their professionalism and care. However, the evening management,

We booked Froyle Park 18+ months before we got married - at that time they were under different management, the decor was looking run down and reviews were mixed. We are so glad we booked all that time ago! With the new management they have invested in the decor, and are bringing Froyle park back to it's glory! It rained on our day but with the amount of rooms, it did not effect us at all. From the tiny, and sometimes random, planning questions, to being flexible to allow us to put some of our homemade decor in position ahead of the day, the team were great throughout. Noise limiter was not a problem in the slightest - the dance floor was full all evening there was never an issue. Only improvement would be for the team to keep booked couples in the loop on all their improvements (had no idea the

Froyle Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. The Jacobean mansion and beautifully maintained gardens created the most stunning backdrop for our day—we even had mini golf and a lovely ice cream dessert setup outside, which our guests absolutely loved! The facilities were amazing, from the spacious and elegant indoor areas to the fantastic dance floor and stage for our live band. We had 100 guests during the day and another 40 in the evening, and the venue handled the numbers effortlessly without ever feeling crowded. One of the standout features for us was the on-site accommodation. With space for over 60 guests to stay, it meant many of our closest friends and family could stay right there with us, which added so much to the experience. We also have the most beautiful wedding photos thanks to the gorgeous surroundings. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue. Froyle Park truly exceeded our expectations and gave us the dream setting for our big day.
