We can't recommend Egton Manor enough! From the planning to the day itself, everything was fantastic. It’s a stunning venue (very Wuthering Heights) and Laura and Olly couldn't have been better hosts. We had quite a few requests and questions before the wedding and they were all handled quickly. On the day, we felt so looked after by all the staff and everything ran smoothly, which took so much of the stress away. All our guests commented on how beautiful the location was. The log cabin that we stayed in on our wedding night was absolutely beautiful and Olly kindly lit a fire for us before we got down there, so it was lovely and cosy. Waking up to see the trees and hear the sound of the river in the morning was blissful - in fact, we’re hoping to spend our anniversary back at the cabin! From the offset, we knew we were in capable hands with Laura and the team. At our initial meeting it was clear the the Egton team puts their heart and soul into every single wedding, and ours was no exception. We were made to feel like family, no ask was too much, nothing was off the table. On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. Sometimes as the bride it is hard to let go and let someone else take the reins but I had no issue. I knew we all were on the same wavelength and the day surpassed my wildest expectations! We got married here in October 2023, I had only found the place via Google as both me and my partner had never been or heard of it. After our first initial visit and chat with Laura we fell in love and booked the wedding even though we had been to many other venues. Laura Olly and staff were helpful, friendly, professional and went out of their way to ensure we had the best day of our life and we couldn't have wished for better. We knew where we stood the whole way, there were no glitches at all and then the freedom to decorate the venue how we wanted was just a plus. I had found out I was pregnant 3 days before the wedding and Laura went above and beyond to ensure that only she provided me with no-secco as I didn’t want to tell anyone. Egton Manor is a beautiful & unique wedding venue. Laura and the team were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the day that we dreamed of. Laura was so flexible and accommodating and we really felt that she personally and passionately cared about the day being perfect for us. We had a large wedding (140) so had the reception in the "stretch tent" which was beautiful and provided a unique and memorable environment, although for smaller weddings other parts of the manor can be used which are also gorgeous. The pictures we had taken outside in the grounds are breathtaking. The day felt unique and tailored to us, and Laura was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, particularly to the needs of older and younger guests - my 94yo grandad was treated like a king! Egton Manor, and Laura, Olly and the rest of the team really are a cut above. We couldn't recommend this venue more highly! Take us back!
