From the very first time we visited Eden Barn and met the Harker family, we knew we had found the place where we wanted to get married. There was something incredibly special about the venue, but more importantly, there was something about the people behind it that made us feel immediately at home. From that first visit, throughout the booking process, the months of planning and preparation, our wedding day itself and even the day after, we always felt genuinely valued and looked after. We never felt like we were simply another couple having a wedding at the venue. We felt like our wedding really mattered to them. That is something that is difficult to put into words. Eden Barn is clearly a very special place, but what makes it even more so is the Harker family and every member of their team. Their care, attention and warmth made such a difference to our experience. Nothing ever felt like someone was simply doing their job. There was always a genuine personal touch, and we felt supported whenever we needed anything. Our guests have all commented on how beautiful the surroundings and venue were, but they have also gone out of their way to mention how wonderful the staff were. They noticed the same things we did: the warmth, attentiveness and genuine care that ran through the whole day. For us, Eden Barn became so much more than simply the place we got married. It became a huge part of one of the most important and memorable weeks of our lives, and we will always be incredibly grateful to the Harkers and their team for that. We knew from the moment we visited and met the Harker family that this was going to be the place for us, and looking back now, we could not have made a better choice. Thank you for making us feel so special, for making our wedding everything we dreamed it would be, and for giving us memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Eden barn is the perfect wedding venue if you value rusticity, elegance and countryside scenery. Tucked into a country lane in the Eden valley, you truly feel like the only people in the world on your wedding day. The barn itself could be used without any further decoration if you wished, it’s grounded, authentic and the perfect mix of glamourised rustic. With your own personal touches it becomes something else, a little slice of whimsy your family and friends can share with you. The service is impeccable, from early stages all the way through it’s made simple, prompt, professional and they think and handle everything you need. We cannot thank the harker family and southcott catering enough for their service. The bar is amazing filled with the best range of drinks, the food was fantastic, the venue is the perfect size where it feels breathable but not so big the wedding party is too spread out. Their warmth, experience and confidence reassured us that our wedding day would be everything we dreamed of, and it truly was. Eden Barn is breathtaking. The barn itself is full of charm with soft fairy lights, a beautiful bar and a stylish lounge area. The grounds are stunning and we even had our own private bride and groom lounge, which was such a lovely quiet space to escape to during the day. Where to begin! I can not thank the whole Eden Barn team enough for making mine and Iain's wedding day so special. From start to finish they were so supportive, accommodating, friendly and are just the nicest people. They made the planning process a breeze and nothing felt like too much. I definitely felt at times I was asking too many questions / sending too many emails, but the team never made me feel that way and always responded promptly. I'll never forget waiting to walk down the aisle and seeing the whole team there with wide supportive smiles. The experience felt so personal and we really appreciated the close family touch. The team at Eden Barn gave us the dream wedding that we have always wanted, the whole day was perfection because the team made every little detail so perfect and allowed our vision to be brought to life.
