We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to get married at Horsley Towers. It is an absolutely stunning venue and, compared with similar venues in the area, we found it very competitively priced for everything it offers. It also photographs incredibly well – there are beautiful backdrops around practically every corner. What initially drew us to Horsley was the history of the building, particularly its connections to the Lovelace family. Our tour with Georgia was the real selling point for us and made us fall in love with the Towers. It gave the venue a sense of character and story that we just didn’t find elsewhere. The venue itself struck exactly the right balance for us: luxurious and impressive without ever feeling excessive, with beautifully proportioned spaces and all the amenities you need conveniently close by. The bedrooms were also beautiful, and the freestanding bathtub in the bridal suite was absolute perfection! We were particularly impressed by Katie, Georgia, Sheldon and the wider team. Horsley is understandably a very popular wedding venue – our wedding was sandwiched between two others – but they still have a remarkable way of making you feel as though your wedding is the only one that matters. Throughout the planning process and on the day itself, everyone was efficient, practical and reassuring. We also held a tea ceremony, which the team approached with respect and enthusiasm. You can immediately tell that the team has a huge amount of experience and knows exactly what they’re doing, which takes so much pressure off you as a couple. This really is the perfect location for a truly stunning wedding. As parents of the bride, all we wanted was to see our daughter and her future husband enjoy a wonderful, stress-free weekend, culminating in the perfect wedding day; and that is exactly what we got! Evie and her team were so accommodating and made the whole experience so much more relaxing than it could have been. The list of suppliers was a huge help, and their expertise, combined with their knowledge of the venue, did so much to ensure the day ran smoothly. We cannot thank your team enough for all the tremendous work you all put in to making this such a magical day. I couldn’t recommend this venue more – we had the most perfect wedding day! The building and grounds are breathtaking, with so much history and plenty of beautiful spots for photos. The package was affordable and included everything we needed, like chairs, tables, cutlery, and even an amazing toastmaster who gave history tours to our guests! We also had a fantastic 3-hour DJ set included, which kept the energy going all night. The staff were incredible from start to finish, guiding us through planning and organisation with such attention to detail. Their communication was fantastic; they always offered advice and responded to any queries quickly. On the day, they made us feel so special and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The whole team truly had everything under control and made us feel completely at ease. The food was amazing, and the menu tasting was such a memorable experience—it was also included! The chef was so flexible and even tailored the meal just for us. What can I say, the staff on the day of our wedding were second to none! They were on the ball, involved us in decisions and were so responsive and reliable. A really special shout out to Brad, who was fantastic, all of my guests have commented on how wonderful you were.

Could not wish for a more perfect venue and Horsley' employees were so supportive. We has to move our wedding 4 times due to the pandemic and Horsley were so understanding and incredible throughout which I know was not the case with many other wedding venues. Great venue and location. Food was good but the communication was poor between the planning team and the service team on the day. To start with we were told we will have 1 wedding planner through thw whole process. This was not the case. I understand that most often venues have 1 person to make the deal and another to manage the event, but had our expectations been set right , we wouldnt have been disappointed. There was no coordination from the planner with any of our suppliers. I believer they should have proactively asked us for their contact and contacted them to co-ordinate the day. But other than the suppliers that they gave us they didn't even want to know who/what we were going with. On the day, our Bridal party was delayed as were most of the guests and some of them missed all the canapes and welcome drinks. When asked, I was told, the rounds were over, and we needed to proceed for wedding breakfast. I think this could have been better managed. I know for sure the canapes were not over. We had paid extra for the canapes and drinks but my bridal party were left without it. We were told, any unused proccesso and drinks will be moved to the tab on the Bar that didn't happen. To top it all, my decorations from the day went missing after the wedding. I had to return these to the hire company but ending up paying Overall, the venue was amazing but we could have done with better service.
