Our wedding day was honestly everything we could have dreamed of and more, and we have the incredible team at our venue to thank for so much of that. From the moment we first started planning, we felt so looked after, but the way everything came together on the actual day was something else. The venue was absolutely beautiful and provided the most perfect backdrop for our wedding. Every little detail came together beautifully, the food was amazing, our guests were so impressed, and the whole atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for. It really did feel like our own little fairytale for the day. 🥹🤍 But I have to give a very special and personal thank you to Jo, our Front of House on the day. Jo, you were genuinely incredible. From the moment we arrived, you were there making sure everything was running exactly as it should. You were calm, organised, reassuring and, most importantly, you made us feel like we were in completely safe hands. There were so many little things happening throughout the day that we didn’t even have to think about because you were already on it. You kept everything moving behind the scenes while allowing us to simply enjoy being newlyweds. Whenever we needed something, you were there. Whenever something needed organising, you had it covered. And whenever we looked around, you somehow seemed to be there making sure everything was perfect. 😂🤍 What meant the most was how personal you made everything feel. You weren’t just doing your job — you genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible day. On a day that can so easily become overwhelming, having someone like you there was an absolute blessing. I’ll always remember how calm and reassured I felt knowing you were looking after everything. We could actually switch off, enjoy every second and be fully present with our family and friends because we knew you had everything under control. Looking back, there are so many moments from the day that we’ll treasure forever, and knowing how much work went on behind the scenes to make those moments possible makes us even more grateful. Thank you to the entire team for helping bring our wedding day to life, for making everything so seamless and for giving us memories that we will genuinely cherish for the rest of our lives. Crondon Park was the only venue we viewed and it was everything we wanted. Everything in one venue, with one room for the ceremony and one room for everything else so everyone was always together and not off in other rooms. But still nice separated so we could make different areas unique for the day. And the venue has so much character and is so beautiful to start with, it didn't need a huge budget to make it look sensational, it just required a small amount of decoration to make it personalised. Our wedding was not the most traditional, with surprises throughout for both the Bride, Groom and the guests. Despite the very busy schedule and secrets to be kept, the staff absolutely make it work. They were so on the ball and made it flow seamlessly- and we really did give them some challenges with sneaking in surprise early ceremony for the guests, a surprise table plan, surprise band and beer festival theme! There were gifts and letters handed out through the day and Crondon Park literally made our dreams come through. We have absolutely no bad words or constructive feedback to give Ellie, Jo, Carly and the team. Our guests have since told us that it was the most personal wedding they have ever attended and we have to thank the team at Crondon for helping us achieve the most perfect day for us. Nothing was ever too much to ask for. Even some of the more challenging requests Crondon could meet and welcomes the ideas and embraced them. We had our wedding at Crondon Park in May, and overall the day itself was amazing. The venue is beautiful, the staff were friendly and professional, and the food was excellent. We were genuinely happy with how our wedding day went. HOWEVER, our experience after the wedding was very disappointing. We were required to pay a £500 damage deposit before the wedding, with the understanding that it would be returned if there was no damage. Two weeks after the wedding, we still hadn’t received the deposit back, so I contacted the venue. A few days later, they returned less than half of it without any explanation. When I called to ask why, I was told they would email me with the reason. The explanation we received was that they had kept more than half of the deposit because some of the guest rooms required “extra cleaning.” This was very surprising, as there was no partying or damage in the rooms. Most of the bridal party got ready together in one room, and the other rooms were used simply for sleeping. We were never shown any evidence or given any details to justify such a significant deduction. It’s a real shame because the venue and staff made our wedding day special. However, the way the deposit was handled afterwards left us feeling disappointed. We could not have asked for a better venue or team. From the moment we booked, they were always on standby to answer any question, no matter how small, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On the day itself they were hands on, calm, and completely in control, which meant we could relax and enjoy every moment. They set out every single piece of decor I made with such care and precision, it genuinely felt like they valued our vision as much as we did. One of the touches that meant the world to us was that they put canapes aside so we could enjoy them in the bridal suite after photos. Later in the evening, they even made sure we left with some of our cake and thank goodness they did, because I was starving at 5am and it absolutely saved me. Katie and I fell in love with the venue when we booked back in 2025. During our journey of completing the payments and planning our special day, we decided to add some amazing extras — including a magician, who was excellent, and fireworks that looked like something straight out of a James Bond movie. We got married at Crondon Park on the 1st May 2026 and it was truly the best day! Jo our front of house was amazing and the whole day ran so smoothly. The food was really good, so many guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! I (the bride) am celiac so needed gluten free and they were able to cater for my allergy no problem. From start to finish Crondon was available to help us and they couldnt have done more. On the wedding day the team was fantastic. All of them made sure the guests had everything they needed and they couldnt have done more for my wife and I.
