We cannot recommend Colville Hall enough for making our wedding day so so special. It was the most perfect day and everything we could have wished for and more. Guests have not stopped talking about the beautiful venue and brilliant staff. My mum was so grateful for our coordinator, Karen, escorting her to her seat in the ceremony. We have just had our wedding at Colville Hall. We absolutely loved the venue and the people from the very first moment we visited . From the vintage Citroen next to the beautiful water fountain, the gorgeous ceremony barn to the stunning Mill Pond Barn you could not ask for a better backdrop. Add to that the magnificent team, the expert co-ordination from firstly Claire, and subsequently Karen, as well as the owner, Philippa, the great bar staff and the wonderful caterers, we simply cannot recommend Colville

We celebrated our wedding on 2nd August 2026 at Colville Hall. From the moment we first visited Colville, we realised it was a special place and where we wanted to have our wedding. Phillipa (the owner) showed us around initially and then we were put in touch with the rest of her team. Communication was excellent and the whole process of organising the wedding felt easy. We were able to text and email any questions during the lead up, and a month before had a final planning meeting running through all the timings and details of the day. It felt that Karen, our coordinator, listened to what we wanted and made the day work for us and our children. This was very important for us when picking a location. On the actual day, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding celebration. Karen liaised with the vendors and managed the day excellently. She was adaptable and flexible with timings in the preparation, which was useful, as we have two young sons. Colville Hall was an excellent choice for our son and daughter's summer outdoor wedding. We wanted a venue that would work for an outdoor wedding, but with the option of a spectacular indoor wedding if needed, and Colville provided both beautifully. We got married at Colville Hall on 05/07/2025 and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was the 4th venue we visited when we were initially shopping around, and 5 minutes into the tour my now-husband looked to me with a sparkle in his eyes and we knew we had found the perfect place for us. We loved having the ceremony and the party in the same location, while still having very distinct areas to celebrate each. The lawn area was a perfect place for our guests to relax and we were able to have a range of lawn games that brought so much joy throughout the day. On the day itself, everything flowed seamlessly from one thing to the next. My husband and I were really able to just focus on having as much fun as possible, without having to really worry about any of the practicalities. We couldn't have asked for a better day, or a better place, to get married! The on-site accommodation was also a nice bonus as we were able to have a nice slow start to the morning the next day. I fell in love with this venue the second we stepped into the ceremony barn and I couldn't have been happier with how it all went. The team at Colville really looked after us and were happy to answer any questions we had. Some rules about food and alcohol need to be noted - don't bring your own. The grounds and barns are excellent for photographs and we are really pleased with how smoothly the day ran. Everything from start to finish was perfect and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The barns are beautiful, and if you like historic venues, I would highly recommend Colville Hall, which offers modern facilities, yet retains a traditional feel. The accommodation is stunning and the attention to detail was wonderful. This venue is something very special.
