Our WeddingFest at Camp Katur was phenomenal! It was the most incredible, emotional, magical experience of our lives! We went for the full outdoor experience, in the woods, and then taking over Hill Farm Geodomes and Safari hut, for the full festival style weekend. The setting is idyllic! The woods are stunning. About 70 of us stayed over for the full weekend in Geodomes, bell tents and even a couple of campers. Kerry was relaxed, flexible and accommodating throughout. We were given free rein to bring our vision to reality, and Kerry was there if and when needed. She made sure all suppliers knew where to go and when, and she made sure we were all in the right place at the right time. Even the 2 security guys were friendly, helpful and great to have around! Camp Katur has the most amazing and quirky glamping accommodation on site. As we were having people travel from overseas and all over the UK we decided to book the entire site for two nights to accommodate all our guests. It was a great way to spend extra time with our guests and drag out the celebrations. It was magical service it was emotional, and was personal to us, it was unique and it was perfect. It was seriously my favourite part of the whole day and it was everything I dreamed of and more. Jan pulled together perfectly all the things that sum us up as a couple - I felt like she climbed inside my head and pulled out exactly what I had imagined it would be in my mind. We love it.” The ceremony & co-ordination was all carried our by Jan Shillito who we cannot thank enough for the amazing work and time that went into making our day perfect we had an in-depth questionnaire and then a consultation which helped us to express how we felt on paper and brought back good memories that we to the back of our minds. Jan then sent us drafts of our script to feedback on.. the only words we could use to describe the first read was “wow”. Just by reading the script remind us why we hadn’t gone for a more traditional church or register office ceremony, we knew then it was going to be a ceremony like no other any of our gusts had ever been to. The ceremony was so personal to us, covering how we met, out thoughts and feeling towards one another, our families, those we have lost and reading perfectly suited to us. There was not a dry eye throughout, it captured everyone’s emotions just as we’d expected and everyone has been saying ever si

Our wedding day at Camp Katur was of course the best day of our lives but I fear it could have gone very differently. The venue itself is stunning and was the perfect location for us but the whole planning process was a complete shambles. The venue continuously gave us mixed messages to the point of outright lying to us and I spent most of the run up to the wedding in tears because I didn't trust they'd be able to pull it off. If you want to do things slightly different to the norm, they don't seem to have a single clue what they are doing.
