We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding than Branxholme Castle Barns. From the moment we first got in touch, Carol and Brian were absolutely incredible. Their communication throughout the entire planning process was second to none. Every email and question was answered so quickly, nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always there with advice, reassurance, and support whenever we needed it. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made everything feel so easy and helped us feel completely at ease from start to finish. On the day itself, Carol and Brian went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for every couple is something really special, and it’s clear they love what they do. We felt so well looked after, which meant we could relax and enjoy every single moment of our day. The venue is simply breathtaking. Every corner is beautiful, from the stunning barns to the surrounding grounds, and it created the most incredible backdrop for our wedding. My husband and I got married at Branxholme Castle on the 27th of November 2021, the day after Storm Arwen hit. We and our guests stayed at the castle and the guest house for the whole weekend. On the morning of our wedding, we all woke up to no power due to the storm taking out various power lines, but Carol and Brian wasted no time getting a generator sent from Edinburgh. They somehow still managed to serve us breakfast and keep everything running despite the storm, power cuts, delays, and ongoing Covid restrictions. By the time I was about to walk down the aisle, the radiators were heating up again and the show was well and truly back on the road! I honestly don’t know how they did it, but they did and it was magical. The venue itself was absolutely spectacular, and Carol went above and beyond, taking care of so much from recommendations for catering to even sourcing a hairdresser to do my hair. Despite everything that was thrown at them, Carol and Brian made sure our day was perfect. It was a truly special experience that we and all our guests will cherish forever. ❤️
