Quality of the service - exceptional, went out of their way to meet our needs, if there was anything they could not do they would endeavour to try and find a solution. Responsiveness - Really good, Carolyn the wedding coordinator would often respond the same day. Professionalism - Our day went without any hitches on their end and we felt supported and informed throughout. Value for money - Not only does the venue sing and speak for itself, it comes with a full inventory of included furniture (no sneaky fees). We also had the full day before to set up and everything extra was totally transparent and optional. Flexibility - Tim and Carolyn were happy to be flexible with lots that we

We are so happy we chose Bowerchalke Barn as our wedding venue - we fell in love with the setting and Carolyn’s reassuring vibes on our first visit. The barn and surrounding fields are really beautiful. We were delighted we managed to have our ceremony up at the ceremony hut despite the capricious UK March weather - Tim sorted us out with patio heaters, hay bales and matting, and we got lucky with some sunshine! It was really lovely to make our vows surrounded by such gorgeous countryside and a peaceful atmosphere. The fields had space for games such as giant jenga and zorb football. The barn itself was big enough to fit all our 120 guests without feeling cramped, but also somehow still felt warm and cosy despite the weather being a cool 8 degrees outside. We even managed to get all our guests involved in the ceilidh! The barn is so stunning already that we didn’t need to do much decoration. The little room on the side which debuted at our wedding was super useful - for both final bridal adjustments e.g. veil, and also later on for our friends with young babies for breastfeeding/naps. We also loved the fire pit and outdoor space in the evening for those that needed to cool down from the dancefloor. Before our wedding it was great to visit the venue a few times to help visualise our big day, with Carolyn being super helpful in thinking through details and linking us up with recommended suppliers. They were flexible in offering options for glassware, outdoor seating, local beers, etc. Both Carolyn and Tim were great at tying together final details and making sure everything was in place, and just generally getting stuff done. During set up the day before and on the day they were both on hand, and made sure things on the day were super seamless so we didn’t have to stress at all and could therefore fully relax and enjoy the day in the moment. They were fantastic at making sure everything ran smoothly and swiftly adapting as needed - including to look after a guest who was unwell and helping search for my lost engagement ring (Tim even pulled in his local metal detectorist friends the next day to successfully find it where it had slipped off in the grass!). We had a fantastic time right from the start of planning to strolling out at the end of the day, to stay at Tim’s brother’s shephe

Extremely welcoming from the very first visit, flexible and proactive, nothing too much trouble, always there at the end of phone or email to answer any queries. Took all the strain and anxiety out of our wedding day as Carolyn can and does 'everything'. Truly beautiful venue with lovely spaces to be; in the barn, patio area with tent hire; evening firepit area....'spectacu

We both always thought it was such a cliché to say that your wedding day is the best day of your life.. but it really was the best day of our lives!! Carolyn and Tim at Bowerchalke Barn were so incredibly helpful and accommodating. Every last little detail was handled perfectly by Carolyn, the co-ordinator. From the big stuff, like the table layout, to the small stuff, like Marshmallow toasting over the fire pit. They were both so friendly and approachable, and always quick to respond to any queries. We felt confident throughout that they w

With Covid causing disruption to our planned wedding, we started looking at other venues, when we saw Bowerchalke Barn we instantly fell in love with the place, honestly if this were the first venue we viewed, we would not have looked anywhere else. The barn is very grand, but very rustic at the same time - although the barn is quite large it still has a nice intimate feel about it and it is so lovely as it is, we hardly put any decorations out (it really didn't need them!). The barn is located in a lovely rural location with spectacular views. The Shepherds Hut toilets are a cool touch too. Tim was ever so helpful, during the planning and helping to set up and on the day itself, and considering we only confirmed about 2 weeks in advance the wedding would actually go ahead (it was off and on for a while with covid regs changing) shows h

We held a small, intimate and very personal marriage at Bowerchalke Barn this January and it was a day that will live long in our memory. Tim and his team were absolutely incredible, we couldn't be more thankful for everything they did for us and also at such short notice. It is clear they care so much about their business, putting on the perfect day for their guests and ensuring we had the best time possible. Nothing was ever too much hassle, they are friendly, accommodating and know how to put on a wedding, organising everything from seating to food (delicious). As a licences venue it meant we could have it all under one roof which was perfect for us. The Barn itself is something to behold, the lighting, decoration all works beautifully and it backs onto the most beautiful countryside. We couldn't have asked for more. Again another huge thank you to Tim and his team for going above and beyond to create a really special day for us.
