We had the most incredible wedding at Woodhall Manor and strongly recommend choosing Woodhall if you are looking for a bespoke, high-end wedding in the picturesque Suffolk countryside. From our very first tour visit, we very quickly knew this was the one. The manor and its grounds offer something genuinely unique - a mix of spaces, with something incredibly special about each setting. There is the character of the manor itself, the large grounds surrounding the manor for canapés, the walled garden for the ceremony, the ballroom for the wedding breakfast with its long tables and French doors opening in the summer, and then the surprise of the beautifully styled nightclub room, which is a rare gem for a heritage venue. There's also so many fun little nooks to discover, like the Rock Bar, where we celebrated with a post-wedding drink into the early hours. Our ceremony by the Dovecote was particularly special. It was quite simply the most out-of-this-world beautiful setting to say “I do”. The atmosphere and surroundings made it feel incredibly intimate and magical, and we were able to create the indoor/outdoor mix we had hoped for, which gave the whole day a wonderful sense of flow and kept the celebrations going late into the night. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at Woodhall. Their professionalism and care when delivering a great service really shone through. Co-ordinator Georgia, Customer Journey Manager Leanne, the DJ, Chefs Ben & Mark, the Bar and Catering team, and everyone else at Woodhall Manor delivered such a brilliant service which left many guests commenting on the slickness of how everything ran on the day. We could see the whole team working their socks off behind the scenes, but everything was handled with a smile and without a single issue. Our co-ordinator Georgia gave us complete confidence that everything was in safe hands, allowing us to properly enjoy our wedding. We also had a large number of external suppliers involved, but the Woodhall team did their utmost to communicate with them, be flexible and work together to make everything seamless. Their willingness to collaborate took a huge amount of pressure off us. This was particularly important because we had quite a few bespoke ideas, and nothing felt like it was being treated as an inconvenience. The Woodhall team were incredibly responsive and accommodating wherever they could help, and this helped us create a day that genuinely felt uniquely ours. The catering was exceptional. The wait staff were so lovely and professionally trained, with their synchronised service genuinely befitting of a high-end restaurant. The chefs Ben & Mark were brilliant in helping us develop a bespoke menu, hosting us for a private tasting and accommodating our requests. They clearly took pride in creating something personal to us, and the result was fantastic. The DJ was another highlight. We provided suggestions from our own playlist and he built an exciting mix around them, adding his own choices in a way that worked brilliantly for our guests. He really understood the atmosphere we wanted and created quite a buzz on the dance floor. The experience continued the following day, with fantastic accommodation and an amazing (and much needed!) breakfast with our guests. It was the perfect way to round off the celebrations and gave us time to relax, reflect on the day and enjoy being together before everyone headed home. What made Woodhall particularly special for us was the combination of an incredible venue and a team genuinely willing to make things happen. We never felt like we were being fitted into a standard wedding package. Instead, we were able to shape the day around our tastes, our suppliers and our ideas, with Georgia and the wider team helping us bring everything together. We recently had our wedding at Woodhall Manor and honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue or team. From the very beginning, everyone was incredibly attentive, responsive, and supportive. Every question was answered quickly, nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made the whole planning process feel so much easier and less stressful. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. We had an issue with our cake delivery that was completely outside of the venue's control, but the team stepped in immediately, received the cake, and worked their magic to make it look perfect. Their calm and proactive approach meant we didn't have to worry about a thing. A special mention has to go to Georgia, who was absolutely fantastic. I was surprisingly calm and relaxed on the morning of the wedding, while Georgia was a ball of energy and excitement, ready to get the day started! Her enthusiasm was infectious and brought such a positive atmosphere to the day. At the same time, she was incredibly organised, professional, and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Our wedding day at Woodhall Manor could not have been any better. The venue is beyond beautiful, and offers so many locations within it for the celebrations to move through which really helped to keep a flow to the day, and finishing off with the Garden Room which is more like your own personal bar/club was a highlight of so many of our guests. There were lots of children on our guest list too and the grounds offered so much space for them to run around and enjoy the day as well as the adults! The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful and our wedding planners, Georgia and her colleague Nikki, were so brilliant at making sure everything went how we hoped it would, taking into account any personal touches and requests that we had to make the day as personal and special to us as possible. We had the most incredible experience at Woodhall Manor and genuinely loved every second of our wedding day there. From the very beginning, our wedding coordinator Mollie was fantastic—always responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She was so patient throughout the entire process, which made everything feel calm and easy, even in the lead-up to the big day. On the day itself, the staff were amazing—attentive and on hand whenever needed, but never intrusive. Our wedding day at Woodhall Manor was truly magical from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — full of charm, romance, and a wonderfully intimate atmosphere that made our day feel so special. We loved how the different rooms were used throughout the day — from our ceremony to the reception drinks, wedding breakfast, and finally the evening disco. Woodhall manor and its wonderful employees couldn’t have been more amazing for us and our big day. Georgia was our saving grace throughout this process, she ensured she answered all of my questions - and trust me there were a lot of them - in a quick and timely manner with the most detail she could provide. We had a last minute guest fly in from the states at 6pm the day before the wedding and Georgia made sure to include them as much as the other guests despite the last minute requests. On the day Georgia took care of everything, she really made sure we had no stresses and she was so warm and welcoming making all of us feel a lot less of those wedding jitters you get. Overall Georgia made the experience of planning a wedding much easier than it’s supposed to be so we are very grateful for all her help and support. All the other employees during our ceremony and dinner were fantastic too, so friendly and were always willing to help with a smile. *they also tolerated our drunk guests very well* The venue itself will be one we’ll never forget. The outside is perfect for photo opportunities, the rooms are unbelievably grand, clean and comfortable. The main room that attracted us to Woodhall Manor in the first place was the garden lounge, when you look up venues it’s hard to find a place that a “conventional” white and pink wedding. We had our wedding day at Woodhall Manor in November 2022 and genuinely had the most perfect day imaginable, in the most stunning venue we could hope for. Firstly, a big thanks to our wedding coordinator Beth, she was absolutely fantastic. She helped us organise the wedding while we were abroad and was always there to answer any questions we had. Beth relieved any of our stresses on the day, we can't believe how smoothly everything went and how chilled out she was! The staff at Woodhall made sure we had a few moments to ourselves during the day and there were so many moments where we turned to each other in disbelief at how perfectly everything was going. We were really able to enjoy the day in a truly stunning venue that has so many picture opportunities - even in November! We would also love to say a huge thank you to Steve, the Woodhall chef and the rest of the kitchen staff. They crafted us an incredible fully vegan menu which far surpassed our expectations. Our guests absolutely loved the vegan dishes, some not even believing us! We are blessed to have had them work so hard on such a special menu for us, we never imagined we would find somewhere not only accommodating but so creative in making tasty dishes. The Manor itself is stunning, set within beautiful fields and quaint gardens. We loved way we had access to every part of the manor with so many areas available, it is set out perfectly for each part of the day. We particularly loved the charming ballroom where we had the wedding breakfast and the stunning completely renovated evening area which has a modern Gatsby vibe - we accidentally matched this to our theme of green and gold! We had a magical 24 hours at Woodhall Manor in November for our wedding day. We wanted a smaller ceremony and afternoon tea for all the guests who would stay overnight in the Manor, with a larger party starting in the early evening with a hog roast and DJ. Woodhall Manor was the perfect venue for this and Jacqueline and her team made this work perfectly. The day couldn't have been any better, and all our guests have commented on how beautiful the venue was, how lovely the food was, and for those who stayed overnight, what a treat it was.
