This is the perfect venue for a wedding to remember. We held our daughter's wedding here in June. Our first contact was Emma Watkins, the Events Manager. What a breath of fresh air. Emma and her staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Rather than trying to sell us a 'package', Emma was more interested in what we were looking for, and then proceeded to fit that into our budget. She took a personal interest in every aspect of the organisation and was always willing to offer suggestions and advice. There were 90 guests for lunch and a further 90 for the evening function. Despite the inclement weather in the afternoon, the team quickly transformed the beautiful venue to accommodate and even found us a beautiful upstairs room for photographs - so much so we barely even noticed the rain! We received so many compliments from our guests and particularly regarding the wonderful venue and delicious wedding breakfast and evening buffet. We recently held our wedding reception at The Manor, from start to finish our day was perfect. The bridal party used the Anne Boleyn room to get ready where we were served breakfast with champagne, the room was set up beautifully and nothing was too much to ask. After the ceremony we had drinks and canapés on the lawn, we were lucky with the weather and our guests were able to play lawn games. We took advantage of having a master of ceremony at our disposal, he was fantastic. Myself and my new husband were well looked after and all of our guests knew exactly what to do and where to be when. I would highly recommend having one at all weddings. The food served on our day was delicious, the chefs easily catered to all our dietary requirements. Although we didn't have exclusive use of The Manor we were made to feel as though we did, nothing was too much to ask. We had sole use of a lot of the function rooms meaning our quests could move around, yet no atmosphere was lost, I put that down to taking their advice on how to set up the rooms. The suite we stayed in was immaculate, beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. Jess our wedding planner, was organised, always available via phone or email and very knowledgeable in here role.
