Dear Mr Hall I would like to inform you of some important points in relation to our Wedding Reception held in the Lancaster Room on Saturday 6th April 2019. First of all our contact for the Function was Catherine Walsh . Catherine's contact ,planning and advise has been second to none over the last few months. I am sure that Catherine's planning and input is the reason why the function was a great success. I'm afraid I can't remember the Banquet Managers name. However this Managers input and drive, turned this function in to a complete success. Many members of my family who attended the function made a point of mentioning how good he was. Dear Mr Beale We had our wedding at your hotel on Saturday and myself, my husband and our guests can not praise your staff enough.On the morning of the wedding I met the people from the company who supply the chair covers and sashes and they were lovely and made sure I was happy with how things looked and I could not fault anything, very friendly. Izzy from the moment we had our first meeting has been absolutely fantastic and couldn't of done enough to make sure of the smooth transaction over to Matthew was perfect, right down to every detail. "My Wedding Reception was held at West Lodge Park back in August 1971. My daughter and I stayed as part of a ‘nostalgia ‘ trip around the area I was born and brought up in. I mentioned this to the Receptionist on my arrival, so imagine my surprise when there was a knock on my bedroom door a few minutes later by a young man holding a red leather bound record book for 1971! He opened it and showed me all the arrangements that had been made for us for the ‘big day’, including the Menu and Invoice all typed out on a 1970’s typewriter! I had completely forgotten what we all ate on that day, for the record we had Melon Cocktails , Chicken a la King and Sherry Trifle.
