Watermouth Cove Weddings was nothing short of breathtaking. From our first visit we knew it was the one and booked days later. The entire team went above and beyond to make our day feel truly magical — every detail was thought of, every moment felt cared for, and nothing was ever too much to ask. They embraced all of my witchy ideas with excitement and even let us ride our late father’s motorbike in, creating a moment we will treasure forever. The setting itself is stunning, but it’s the people who make it unforgettable. Zoe, Georgia & Sam had everything under control and planned to the finest detail even with a few last minute curve balls thrown in! We love the onsite accomodation and having all our nearest family onsite. Only improvement here for us would be slightly bigger accomodation to account for us big Irish families with loads of kids! Other than that everyone loved it and kept saying how lush it was. The bridal suite is spectacular and omg the views you wake up to! Massive thank you to the gorgeous Head Chef! Your food was absolutely delicious and felt never-ending! Thank you for letting us still have a BBQ and the scone cake… wow. What a showstopper! ...and book for as many days/nights as you can afford! Absolutely everything went smoothly - the venue adapted to our requests and delivered everything they promised and more. The staff make this venue what is it - utterly perfect. From day one of meeting Zoe, Georgia and the family/team behind this incredible venue, we knew this was no wedding factory. The team were there for us, to make our special day so memorable and personal. All communication has been prompt and no question has felt too silly for them. Organising was simple and with the experience under their belts, they have a wealth of knowledge to tap into if your stuck on something and are slick with all their management on the day, but by no means mechanical. The food was incredible - despite over running, it all came out hot. Our guests were SO happy with it all. We had quite a few dietary requirements, one of which was particularly challenging, but they catered for them exceptionally well, with our tricky guest gushing with compliments about the food they received as they're used to getting a s*** bowl of lettuce. Having watched the venue progress since we booked over 2 years ago, we have seen them win awards and they're not sitting back on their success and clocking up the bookings, they're pumping money back into the site, developing their accommodation and adding thoughtful touches - I think I might have to get married again just to see how incredible the venue is in another few years time ;-) ! Accommodation was a huge plus side - having half of our guests stay on site was amazing, The caravans are obviously a bit retro, but were super clean and comfy - our guests were delighted with their fun caravan stay! The cottages are so tastefully done, clean and comfy and all accommodation is so well equipped for self catering. The penthouse bridal suite was just a real treat - spacious and perfect to relax in before our big day. I don't think you'll find another venue in this country with so much space, stunning views, caves to explore, swimming pools, heaps of accommodation and run by such an exceptional team. I am a wedding Videographer and I had the pleasure of filming a wedding in the summer 2022 at Watermouth Cove. I must say the staff are amazing and so kind! You can tell that they love what they do and that they appreciate every couple who gets married at their beautiful venue. Everything went to plan during Becca and Adam's Wedding (which is rare and great to see!) Watermouth Cove is an amazing venue with a fantastic mixture of both modern and rustic. Not only is the surrounding area truly breathtaking but the venue it self is absolutely stunning too! Everything about the venue is superb, the Accommodation, the indoor ceremony room, the outdoor ceremony area with its spectacular views, the courtyard and of course the beach and the caves! The caves make this venue more unique than any other I have ever filmed. The reception room is fantastic, it offers plenty of room which allow photographers and videographers to get the shots they need without being intrusive to the wedding party. The abundance of outdoor areas for guests to mingle and relax after a long day of celebrating are a great touch and definitely add the the charm of the venue. The dance floor was quite small in comparison to other venues but I loved this because it just encouraged everyone to get in the mix and have a real good time! From start to finish, the communication, the kindness, the flexibility and of course fun was apparent from this amazing family. The venue speaks for itself… stunning!
