We found Voco (which was Holiday Inn at the time) on hitched and fell in the love with it and went to view. It was everything we wanted but our guest package didn't meet the requirements so they altered it to meet our needs. Despite having to chase Alice (wedding coordinator) via email a few times, she has been outstanding. Meeting our every need/request to the best of her ability. In fact, every staff member at Voco went above and beyond for us. During planning and on the special day. Everything ran smoothly and the day was perfect. We even had guests approach us and express how wonderful, professional and accommodating the staff had been. The food was outstanding! We loved it and so did every guest. The buffet was exceptional and displayed so elegantly. W

From the very beginning, everything was handled with such professionalism and ease that the entire planning process felt effortless. There were no worries, no last-minute panics—just genuine support from a team who clearly love what they do. A special thank you to Alice, our incredible wedding coordinator. She took the time to understand exactly what we envisioned and brought it all together with such calm confidence. Her organisation, creativity, and warm manner made us feel completely at ease. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made every detail feel personal and important. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and enjoyed by every single guest. Those with dietary requirements were especially complimentary, saying they felt truly considered rather than accommodated as an afterthought. The kitchen and service teams went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an exceptional experience. Our guests are still talking about the day, with many saying it was one of the best weddings they’d ever attended. The atmosphere, the service, and the little touches throughout the venue all played a huge part in that. And to top it off, the surprise waiting for us in our room at the end of the night was such a thoughtful and heart-warming gesture. We couldn’t recommend voco Southampton more highly. If we could relive the day all over again, we absolutely would!
