From the minute we booked from the minute we went to bed it was the best wedding we could of ever wish for. We want a nice relaxed day and really good party in the evening and that’s what we got. We changed around the menu to suit how we wanted to day to go and the village were happy to do this. Everyone has since complimented the food and how much was brought out. Staff are absolutely amazing and considering me and my friends and family are very big drinkers they were always well stocked at the bar. We booked the village hotel, Portsmouth, after our Vegas wedding got cancelled due to covid. Mainly due for the whole day being under one roof and catered for our DIY mini budget. The variety of packages offered a lot of flexibility in the amount of people we could bring. The room is generic and multipurpose but when decorated was spectacular. We could not have wished for or planned a better day! Our wedding at The Village in Portsmouth was everything we hoped it would be. From the moment Jamila took over the co ordinating of our day, everything ran smoothly. I booked my reception at the Village Hotel Portsmouth as I was confident that my experience of being a regular customer of the hotel, attending tribute nights as well as having gym and business club membership meant that I knew I was in safe hands. The reception looked amazing, the food was delicious, the staff on the day were highly professional and my coordinator Izabela Sledz was fantastic in not only keeping in regular contact but also solving a last minute crisis.
