Purchased by Chris and Thelma Slattery in 1981 and opened as a country house hotel in 1984 , it is now proudly in its second generation and a member of the prestigious Ireland’s Blue Book. For over 40 years, the Slattery family and their team have been hosting beautiful weddings and celebrations with an unwavering commitment to excellence, where every detail is carefully considered. The Station House is celebrated for its warm hospitality and outstanding food. With sustainability at its heart, ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible, with long-standing partnerships including a chemical-free farm and local butchers in Kilmessan village, artisanal charcuterie from nearby Tara, local beekeepers, Boyne Valley cheese producers, and a network of farms within a 20-mile radius.
