The staff were so easy to speak with, so accommodating, they made sure myself and my husband ate as the food came out when we were having photos. They were just amazing! From the moment we arrived at The Orchard in Bearsted for our initial tour, we knew this venue was something special. Set on the outskirts of the beautiful Kent village of Bearsted, it somehow manages to feel both grand and intimate — the kind of place you could imagine featured in Hello! or OK! as the backdrop to a celebrity wedding. And while we’re certainly not famous, we wanted a day that felt unforgettable for us and for every guest. The Orchard delivered that and so much more! Now, 5 weeks since our wedding, we can fully appreciate just how exceptional the venue and its entire team truly are. We were incredibly lucky to have Devon as our wedding coordinator. We clicked with her instantly. She explained everything clearly, guided us through every decision, and helped us shape a day that exceed our vision and met our budget. We’re sure all the coordinators are amazing, but Devon genuinely brought our dream wedding to life. Thank you, Devon — you are a star! We also had the pleasure of meeting the Head Chef Callum, who walked us through the extensive food options with the same warmth and professionalism. As we had a twilight wedding, we chose the mixed buffet — and it exceeded every expectation. We’d worried there might not be enough food, but Callum reassured us, and he was absolutely right. Every dietary requirement was catered for, and our guests are still telling us it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The quality and quantity were incredible. Cheers, Callum, you and your team absolutely delivered! As part of our package, we used the Arrive in Style car service and met Gary & Sammy, who handled additional transport for around 65 guests to and from a nearby hotel. The service was exceptional and fantastic value for money. They felt like extended family — the kind of people you’d happily have as guests, not just drivers. We’re so grateful for them. Finally, our DJ team, Ross & Lisa from 1 Entertainment, kept the dance floor full from our first dance to the very last song. Ross created the perfect atmosphere, and the playlist we built together meant the energy never dipped. Our wedding simply wouldn’t have been the same without them. Wow! Where do we start with the Orchard.... after viewing lots and a variety of venues we soon came across The Orchard. The day we viewed it we absolutely fell in love with its beauty, and how caring and kind the staff were, and we knew that this was going to be our venue. The Orchard were amazing throughout the whole lead up to the wedding with answering questions, taking the time for us when we had several viewings and they completely put us at ease. The food was also INSANE and Callum, the head chef, is very talented and creates a meal to remember. All of our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. On our wedding day, nothing was short of perfect, our wedding coordinator, Caroline, completely saw our vision and executed it so perfectly. The day flowed so smoothly and looked after myself and my husband the whole day and evening. We went for the Elegance Package meaning we had so much included, including the DJ who was amazing aswell and had people dancing all night. The Orchard thinks about every detail from planning to the end of the night having a chauffer service to transport guests home. The Orchard team were fantastic throughout our entire wedding journey. The team were always available to answer any questions and were very responsive via email. During our initial visits to the Orchard, the team made us feel very comfortable and it was clear that they put the couples first. The venue is absolutely amazing and definitely is value for money for everything which is included. The arrive in style chauffeur service was so handy for our guests and they were also very responsive and helpful to answer any questions. Having our dedicated wedding coordinator to be the primary contact for our wedding queries during the preparations was extremely helpful. The food provided by the venue was delicious and all of our guests were very impressed. The Orchard is a beautiful venue and the surrounding countryside made for an amazing backdrop for our photos during sunset! We would like to thank the entire Orchard team for their care and support on our wedding day, and during our preparations. We will cherish the memories made at the Orchard for the rest of our lives.
