The Orangery

We had the most incredible wedding day and honestly, that was only made possible because of how friendly, accommodating and helpful everyone was throughout the whole process. We went to a couple of the inspiration evenings when we were planning, which were really helpful for getting ideas and working out what we liked and wanted for our day. Everyone we spoke to at those evenings was lovely and so helpful, which made us feel really confident that we had chosen the right venue. With around 8 weeks to go, Kelley started supporting us with the final preparations and she was amazing. She was always there to answer any and all questions, share advice and help with anything we needed, and she constantly made us feel at ease. On the day, both Kelley and Eleanor were brilliant and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. They took us to see where we would be walking before the ceremony, which really helped us feel prepared. We also made a last-minute change to the music, and they came back to triple-check that the change was exactly what we wanted. It was little things like this that made such a difference and showed how much they genuinely cared about making sure we were happy. The day ran so smoothly and we were able to just enjoy it without worrying about anything. Our guests were blown away by how amazing and beautifully kept the venue and grounds were, and we had so many compliments about the food, which was incredible. The service from everyone was fantastic and the DJ was great too. What we appreciated most was all the advice and support along the way. We never felt like anything was too much trouble, and having people there who knew what they were doing and could reassure us when we needed it made such a difference. Wow. I’m not sure where to begin with this review as i’m still blown away by everything that the orangery team did for our wedding on 26/06/26. Everything was absolutely stunning from the venue to the effort from Michaela and the rest of the Orangery team. We got married at The Orangery this summer and it truly was everything we could’ve wanted and more. The staff are so incredibly helpful, the grounds are stunning and everything about it exudes brilliance. From when we booked back in 2024, to multiple walk arounds, meetings, to the wedding day itself everything was handled so beautifully and with so much grace and care. Every interaction was met with such respect regarding what we wanted for our special day, even down to how fast an email was responded to. Each tiny detail was never overlooked in terms of how it affected the overall experience and we are so completely grateful. We knew from our first viewing of The Orangery that it was our dream wedding venue, and everyone at The Orangery helped bring that dream to life. Just wow. The grounds, the people, the food - just wow! We only visited one venue, and it was The Orangery. From the very first moment, we knew it was the one. Our wedding day was everything we could have hoped for and more. The venue is just absolutely stunning & all our guest commented on how beautiful it is. We booked our wedding in 2024 based on just the venues aesthetic and wow am I glad we did. The team were honestly amazing from start to finish. No request was ever too much, and they always went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. From emails at 2am, to feeling like the team were our friends. We truly felt so looked after. Most importantly id like to thank Rheanna. What a woman! Rheanna constantly reminded me that it’s my wedding day, she made me feel like a princess, nothing was ever too much. From helping the boys with their button holes to holding my dress, to making sure we always had what we needed. THIS WOMEN DIDN’T STOP! You can tell Rheanna actually loves her job and her couples! I honestly feel like I’ve known her for years hahaha!! In the evening Rheanna made the effort to come & find us to say she’s finished for the day and passed us over to Joe. Joe was also amazing. He never blinked twice at any of my requests. no matter how random or last minute they were! Again, nothing was ever too much to ask, and everything we needed, we got.. It really felt like he genuinely cared about making our day exactly how we wanted it, and we’re so grateful for everything he did. We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Freya. She was so lovely throughout the whole day and always made us feel looked after. She was kind, friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed! Overall, this really was our dream day. The food was stunning especially the beef. We never waited around for the next dish, the service was amazing and fast! Happiest day of our lives!!! Our wedding at the orangery was absolutely MAGICAL 🥹💖 Kelley and the team could not do enough for us and were so kind and supportive! Kelley helped ease any nerves we had, helped fixed little bits with the flowers and decor so that the day was perfect!! Even when things weren’t perfect (as no wedding is haha!) they made it FEEL perfect 🥹 Visually, all our guests said the grounds were STUNNING! With the pretty waterfall, ivy woodland area and lapa (where we had our ceremony), the gardens, rivers and huge trees, it was all so gorgeous. The food was fab and the staff were so friendly, I spent the whole night dancing with my new husband and family, running round the grounds in my big dress and just enjoying the evening! They were happy for us to party all the way until close and were really helpful. We had some elderly relatives attending as well and the orangery was perfect because it was easily accessible and very accommodating. The reception area is gorgeous with the huge classic arch shaped windows, we also got the sparkly light-up dance floor and chandelier and it looks amazing in the photos of our first dance. Other things we had were fairy lights on the bridge, a charcuterie board (that our guests loved!) and flowers and trees decorating the indoor space with celestial decor. The staff at The Orangery were absolutely amazing from the time of booking right up to our wedding day. They were on hand the whole way through to help and assist with any question no matter how big or small. Kelley who was with us on the day was a total dream, she made sure everything ran smoothly and was there not just as her job but also for support when needed, I don't think we could have gotten through the day without her! The staff at the orangery were all absolutely amazing, polite, helpful and nothing was ever too much. We had Bryony helping us throughout our planning and wedding day and she was such a star!
