The venue itself is stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding, but what really sets it apart is the incredible team behind it. Every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment of our special day. We genuinely believe that without their support, organisation, and attention to detail, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the day as much as we did. We had our wedding here in October and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From our very first visit we knew this venue was something special, and the team made the entire planning process feel smooth, organised and completely stress-free. Our coordinator, Claire, was exceptional. She was incredible every step of the way and always on hand to help with anything we needed. Her organisation, attention to detail and support meant everything ran so seamlessly on the day, and we truly wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. We also had young children in our bridal party and the staff were amazing with them, making them feel comfortable and included throughout the day. It meant so much to us that they were looked after so well. The venue itself is stunning and created the most beautiful setting for our wedding day. When we came to visit TOKB for the first time, we simply fell in love with it! The staff, the venue itself & the food is all just amazing, there is nothing bad to be said about anything! This is a definite venue to add to your viewing list at the minimum!

Visited OKB and instantly knew its where I wanted to get married! Me and my partner went to book a date but it gets booked up fast and I now know why! We managed to secure the 04/05/25. From there we were invited to tours and taster evening which was just amazing (so much food). They have a portal which you organise your wedding on and its so easy to use but if you have any questions you can call and ask or email. The staff… they make this place! Nothing is too much to ask and everyone is super helpful! We dealt with Chloe and Elsie and both were amazing on the lead up to the wedding and Elsie was just superb on the day! Cant thank her enough for all her help and patience. I honestly can’t do the OKB justice in the review as there is just so much to say! The venue is gorgeous, they can help you with recommended suppliers which is really helpful. We had our special day on a sun filled day on 3rd January 2025 surrounded by all our family and loved ones. Our wedding was brought forward with 6 months due to doctors advice to my wife. They couldn’t of been more helpful. Helped us through every step of the way and guided us through the entire process. We got married at TOKB and it was flawless from the very first moment we’ve signed to the wedding day itself. The whole process was very smooth and they have thought about every little detail. Their portal is very comprehensive and they help you to plan your wedding and make sure you cover every aspect of your day. They really do go above and beyond and they run the wedding almost military style (in a good way!). They make sure you are on track without being pushy. Everything is done seamlessly and in the background. You never know they are there! The venue is fantastic and there’s very little you need to do to decorate. It’s just down to individual themes and table decorations. It allows you to take great photos as the venue and the gardens are beautiful. The food was great. The portions were massive and it tasted great. You won’t be leaving the wedding being hungry. All in all, they have thought about everything, including the tiniest details. From the moment my now husband and I went for our first viewing right through until after the wedding the staff at the venue have been amazing - Ashleigh was our wedding coordinator and could not have been more helpful and on the day she was an absolute star and went well beyond her role in helping do things to ensure the day ran smoothly. We got married at the Old Kent Barn this week. From the minute we first enquired, to the tour, booking, planning, and wedding day were all perfect and so well organized. A week on from our wedding and I’ve come to the conclusion that there are no sufficient words to describe our experience at the barn. From the minute we booked, the team have been brilliant. They are so responsive, they never leave you waiting for an answer when you email. They are positive, supportive and, most importantly, kind! I have listened to the podcast ‘The Unfiltered Bride’ for most of the wedding planning and they encourage booking a ‘day of’ coordinator as wedding venues don’t provide the support you need. I can promise, with all my heart, you do not need one at TOKB. I had worried that we’d made a mistake not booking one, but boy did they prove me wrong. They had at least two people checking on us throughout the morning as well as someone else for my husband, who helped with ties and getting them ready. Yes they were there to coordinate everything from the venue POV, but I did not feel ignored or that I was missing an extra person to help. They were on hand to help get me into my dress, to make sure my bridesmaids were ready. If you listen specifically to episode 74 of ‘The Unfiltered Bride’, everything listed during that episode as something a ‘day of’ coordinator does, is everything the team at TOKB did. The food at TOKB is sublime. We had the hog roast for wedding breakfast and pizza for the evening. Our guests loved everything about it all, including the canapés. They took all dietary requirements we had in their stride and no-one went hungry. I could gush about them for hours, they really are excellent.
